The Inn has a lovely location and grounds with very nice staff and dining We stayed in Cottage near horse stable , which looked nice until entering room had several Stink bugs in and around room . Goes with the area that has stink bug problems My problem was the room did not look like bugs were cleared out before... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here in late August, a Sun/Mon evening as part of a romantic getaway in Virginia wine country. We found and secured our reservation online, an easy and seamless process. We initially reserved the Madison Cottage, but we received an e-mail a few days before arrival noting that room was already booked and inviting us to... More

My wife and I just spent our first anniversary here at the Inn and were not disappointed. The summer kitchen room where we stayed was an enormous two story suite, essentially a private country house completely separate from the main inn and restaurant. Note that this is a very old house. While the bathroom may be updated with a new... More

I am not usually a bed and breakfast fan but this charming Inn has many amenities and excellent service. Of course it is a century old home in a beautiful setting but is updated where needed and very clean. The innkeepers are hospitable and enjoy what they do. Each person is made to feel as if they are their personal... More

Based upon many "glowing reviews" we selected Meander Plantation as an anniversary celebration getaway. We found it quite disappointing. The food was outstanding, both breakfast and the "REQUIRED" dinner reservation (which seemed a little strange) but the place is getting "a little tired" and was in need of some general maintenance and grounds needed a little TLC. Tree branches needed... More

“Frankly Scarlett,” the Inn at Meander Plantation is the best. From the first sight of the Plantation, the history and provenance of this fine old plantation home is almost palpable. I expected to find Mr. Jefferson or General Washington seated in the parlor. The scent of boxwood fills the air as you walk to the entrance. The Inn features true... More

What a great find! Lovely property and location! The owners were more than accommodating in making our reservation and arranging a couple's massage for us during our stay. We greatly enjoyed dinner at the Inn one evening. The pace was just perfect and the food was outstanding! We also enjoyed the optional wine pairings of all Virginia wines! Breakfast was... More

We chose this B&B for birthday celebration getaway and from start to finish our stay was simply amazing!! We selected the Virginia wine package for a two night stay. The grounds and inn was filled with Southern charm and was delightfully peaceful and relaxing!! The food served was also another draw to this place. Everything served was exquisite. We recommend... My husband and I just celebrated another anniversary at this cozy, romantic Inn. Located just south of Culpeper (a nice town with some cute shops and restaurants), it is easy to find. The driveway is a bit long and bumpy, so you need to take it slowly. This historic inn is by no means rundown, but it could use a... More

We just returned today from the B&B. The house is absolutely gorgeous and is preserved superbly. The grounds are beautiful - maintained with taste and pride. Our room (Robinson) was much smaller then shown on the picture, and I am not sure how they made it look so bright on the picture - it has only one small window and... More
