My husband and I stayed here in Aug for our anniversary. I took the train from DC to Charlottesville and met up with him for the short drive to Lexington. We were looking for peace and quiet, beautiful views, close by historic attractions, wineries, and breweries. We found them all, and this B&B was the best! Dave and Karen were... More

Imagine sitting on a porch looking out across the green lawn on to the Blue Ridge mountains. This is the view of the Shenandoah Valley that awaits you when you stay at the Brierley Hill B&B. Dave and Karen are the new owners of this charming B&B; they welcome guests like friends. Karen's breakfasts are a treat. Delicious and served... More

Dave and Karen are wonderful, and the Brierley is beautiful with magnificent views. Fantastic breakfast. Perfect place to stay when visiting Washington & Lee; very convenient to the school and town. If we are ever in Lexington again, this is where we will stay.

You will love the Brierley! The location is peaceful and serene, but only minutes from downtown Lexington. The views are picture perfect. Rooms are lovely and comfortable. Dave and Karen made our stay pleasant in every way. A truly exceptional B & B.

We recently stayed at this bed and breakfast and we loved every minute of it. It sits on 8 acres of gorgeous land with rabbits and deer making their ways through the lawn and a view that just makes you exhale all of your stressors away. We stayed in the "Once Upon a Time" room which had a huge bed... More

On holiday from England, Dave and Karen really made us welcome and we enjoyed their lovely home, our very comfortable room and fantastic breakfasts. Our fellow guests were great fun and our stay, all in all, was a wonderful start to our USA adventure.

This was a beautiful place to stay. Th inn keepers were very accomodating to get us in. Their reccmendations for things to do & places to eat were also very good! Dave fixed a great breatfast too! We had somewhere to be, so we did wish that they could have served us breakfast a little earlier, but other than that...it... More

If a visit to Brierley Hill was your first B&B, you may be slightly disappointed in any other B&B! Dave and Karen made us feel right at home with a beautiful room and a fabulous view of the mountains. Breakfast all three mornings was delicious and all very different - including edible flowers from their garden. Wonderful fresh fruit, very... More

This B&B has just about everything going for it. Located a very short drive (or even brisk walk) away from the center of Lexington, Brierley Hills has the feeling of being more remote giving it a feeling of splendid peacefulness and solitude. It's elevated position creates the stage for the magnificent views over the fields and mountains. A number of... More

I just returned from a two night visit to Brierley Hill B&B and I highly recommend it. The B&B is beautiful inside and out, the location is wonderful - picturesque and blissfully quite. We enjoyed the wildlife, especially the cardinals and hummingbirds! So nice to get away from the DC suburbs to this peaceful, lovely spot. Dave & Karen were... More
