This was our 4th visit to Lexington, VA, and the 1st time staying at the Llewellyn Lodge. We stayed in Room # 4, and I have never gotten a better night's sleep when staying away from home than I did last night! Our room was very clean and well supplied with just about anything you might need, and I'm sure... More

Perfect!! Llewellyn Lodge was where my roommates and I and our wives stayed for our 15 year reunion at VMI. John's B&B is wonderful. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well taken care of. We always had clean towels and amenities in our room. The B&B is uptown and quiet but an easy walk to downtown Lexington, W&L, and VMI.... More

We stayed here to be close to Civil War General birth places, and final resting places. I heard our Host John, was very knowledgeable, and the Inn close enough to walk everywhere. Our stay was very comfortable, and the fridge was stocked with refreshments. Breakfast was perfect-I wish I was still there! I forgot something in our room, and John... More

We stayed here while attending a reunion weekend at VMI. John is a great host -- knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was fantastic. The location was ideal for us, walking distance to town/VMI/W&L, but quiet because it's just a little bit removed. The price seemed reasonable, especially given what you get for... More

There is much positive to be said for the Llewelyn B&B: First, the pillows, filled with "artificial feathers," according to John, the affable, knowledgeable and helpful host, were among the best I've ever encountered. Second, this B&B's location, while away from the noise and hustle of downtown Lexington, was still an easy 6-block walk to the center of this historic... More

We have stayed twice at the Lodge and completely enjoyed both experiences. The combination of the beautiful scenery of historic Lexington and our stay at the Llewellyn Lodge made both weekends very memorable. John greeted us both times with his warm southern hospitality and met our every need. The lodge is located within walking distance of the town's main area... More

A gem of a place. John went above and beyond great customer service to always make sure my friend and I were comfortable. Breakfast is individually and lovingly prepared. The whole house is full of fluffy and well-kept furniture. Grounds are pretty. John was extremely personable and helpful in giving us personal tips on local attractions/restaurants. Reasonably priced. Great location... More

Wow! Where to begin? My 13 year old daughter and I decided last minute to stop in Lexington, Va during our road trip. Hotel fees in the area and surrounding areas were quite high due to a fair that was in town. Not only was this little B&B prices better than the local hotels, the service far surpassed anything I... The Llewellyn Lodge is a perfect choice when visiting Lexington and you are tired of the big impersonal chains. It was comfortable, convenient and reasonable. John, the innkeeper, fixes a dynamite breakfast and is a knowledgeable and expert fishing guide. The Inn is located near both W&L and VMI colleges for those who are visiting for that reason. Highly recommended... More

We spent 3 nights in this comfortable B & B. The room was cozy and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast each day was tasty and well prepared with a good selection of food and drink. John, our host, was a font of information about area attractions and dining establishments. He went out of his way to make our stay -... More
