This is beyond great! Close to VMI and Wash & Lee - can walk to all areas. Fabulous rooms and restaurants. Delightful stay - staff great. Ate at the restaurants which were great. Cannot say enough about this great spot.

Can't wait to go back! Friendly and accommodating staff. Beautifully decorated rooms with every possibly amenity: heated floors, heated towel rack, beautiful and spotless bathroom and "just like home" bedding. Fabulous breakfast included with the room. Even the guests are friendly because everone is so relaxed. Highly recommended!

We decided to stay here on our second trip to Lexington and are so glad we did. What a treat. I'm a hotel snob. I've stayed in some of the best in big cities and have to say they have figured it out. Each Nook. Each room design is simply exquisite. The exterior of the building is as well. Beds,... More

On a road trip to Ashville we decided to go out of our way just to try out this small boutique hotel. So glad we did! Lexington was a lovely little college town and much larger that we thought it may be. Our stay at the Georges was great from start to finish. Friendly person on the phone when we... More

Rooms were very nice and service very friendly. However I fail to see how you can say this place was much more than average plus. The breakfast was very disappointing with a very limited selection.Probably would not say there again

The hotel is located in the heart of Lexington. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bathrooms are truly wonderful and well appointed with high quality shampoo, etc. Tina the Innkeeper was charming and welcoming at check in. She showed us a number of rooms that were available before we chose ours. All the rooms were absolutely wonderful... More

We are delighted you stayed with us at The Georges, and we sincerely apologize for your disappointment in our breakfast. Honestly, it is my idea as the owner to serve a European type breakfast included in your room price, where you have continental selections for breakfast including yogurt, granola and berries with the option to order eggs with bacon or... What a great boutique hotel. Great service, decor and food. The location is ideal right in the center of town. The rooms are amazing. They are arguably some of the best, if not the best, I have ever experienced. I have stayed here twice and the hotel is just fantastic all around.

After four years of regularly visiting Lexington, we stayed at the newly opened The Georges. Our usual accommodation over the years has been the Hampton Col Alto, which is pleasant, but quite expensive for the class of hotel that it is. Centrally located in downtown Lexington, The Georges is a different level altogether. I would not classify it as a... More

My husband and I stayed here during a cycling trip to Lexington. The friendly staff consistently went out of their way to make our stay special and comfortable. Although the building itself is old and historic, the rooms were beautifully updated and very comfortable. Our bed felt like a sea of down! The bathroom was equipped with quality fixtures, and... We booked a stay at The Georges based on the rave reviews on Tripadvisor, and the downtown location. We were disappointed. Our (first) room was on the second floor in the principal building (there are two). Be aware that if you are on the end of the inn towards the restaurant ("Taps"), you will have a loud exhaust fan to... More

We are grateful for your feedback pointing out some very valid problems, and we realize from your visit we have a few mechanical issues to adjust. With our principle building, Marshall, construction lagged behind the Washington building and we did not open until late August of 2014. Our restaurant of TAPS did not open until Feb 2015. While we had... More
