Lexington was a halfway stopping point on our recent road trip, and we chose Frog Hollow based on trip advisor's glowing reviews and photos. After experiencing Frog Hollow in person, I can tell you I totally agree with the positive reviews that I had read. As soon as we stepped into the house, both myself, and my teenage daughter, felt... We stayed in the little cottage which we adored. Everything imaginable was there to make us feel at home. The property is within minutes of downtown Lexington and just a short drive to lots of points of interest. The innkeepers, John and David, are incredibly friendly, helpful, and offer excellent advice on where to eat. The property was very clean... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. GREAT gourmet breakfasts. Stayed here for 7 nights, and never had the same breakfast twice. The innkeepers were so hospitable- tending to and anticipating every need. Very knowledgeable about the area. Rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Very conveniently located. Close to hiking trails, biking was excellent. Great advice on places to go,... More

My husband and I were on our way to the Outerbanks for a family vacation and Lexington,Va was about half for us so I found the Frog Hollow B&B. It was a really nice place to stay. We stayed in the Cottage room. It was really nice, clean and comfortable. John and David were great hosts. They had some great suggestions... More

Nice place! We stayed in the "tiny cabin" which had a kitchen, living area and two beds (one is a pull-out trundle bed). This arrangement worked well for my friend and myself, as we wanted separate beds. This little cottage was about 100' from the main house and very private, with its own deck and chairs. The beds were comfortable... More

Thank you John and David for a relaxing stay in your cozy and beautiful home. The rooms were spotless and you can easily see that David is an interior designer. The common areas (porches and living rooms) are welcoming and the gourmet breakfast was outstanding. John was full of local knowledge and both were interesting individuals. We will be back... More

My husband & I were on our way to a mini reunion in D.C. with some friends who had graduated from W&L, so we decided to stay in Lexington on our way from Franklin, TN. John was a most congenial host who was helpful in every way, from helping with our internet connection to suggesting good places to eat downtown.... More

Located on a quiet country road just outside of town. I stayed in the cottage house (Turtlecreek cottage) located on the property. Private, landscaped, clean, airy and roomy. Just right for one or two people looking for escape and convenience all rolled into one.

This is a splendid B & B! My husband and I stayed in their charming Victorian-styled "Garden Room" with an en suite bath. We've stayed in other nice B&B's, and this one is tops in all ways. It's a beautiful 100+ year-old farm house that has been lovingly restored and decorated. The hosts, John and David, heated the hot tub... More

David and John, we love you , you always make us feel so special and welcome. The * Little house* was a little bit of heavenly seclusion on your fabulous property. You are always warm and embracing.....hope to see you as soon as possible, I dont ever want to stay anywhere else!!!!
