Thank you John and David for a relaxing stay in your cozy and beautiful home. The rooms were spotless and you can easily see that David is an interior designer. The common areas (porches and living rooms) are welcoming and the gourmet breakfast was outstanding. John was full of local knowledge and both were interesting individuals. We will be back... More

My husband & I were on our way to a mini reunion in D.C. with some friends who had graduated from W&L, so we decided to stay in Lexington on our way from Franklin, TN. John was a most congenial host who was helpful in every way, from helping with our internet connection to suggesting good places to eat downtown.... More

Located on a quiet country road just outside of town. I stayed in the cottage house (Turtlecreek cottage) located on the property. Private, landscaped, clean, airy and roomy. Just right for one or two people looking for escape and convenience all rolled into one.

This is a splendid B & B! My husband and I stayed in their charming Victorian-styled "Garden Room" with an en suite bath. We've stayed in other nice B&B's, and this one is tops in all ways. It's a beautiful 100+ year-old farm house that has been lovingly restored and decorated. The hosts, John and David, heated the hot tub... More

David and John, we love you , you always make us feel so special and welcome. The * Little house* was a little bit of heavenly seclusion on your fabulous property. You are always warm and embracing.....hope to see you as soon as possible, I dont ever want to stay anywhere else!!!!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in the Garden room. John and David have thought of every amenity. The room was dark and quiet, the mattress perfect, and we slept like logs. We asked John for some ice the first evening, and when we came back from sightseeing the second evening, he already had a bowl of... More

We've stayed here several times…Every visit is such a treat! John and David are excellent hosts, super attentive and welcoming. Their home is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. It's a wonderful place to relax and and is very convenient to downtown Lexington or for getting out and about to explore the gorgeous area around the Shenendoah valley. You will not be... More

My husband reserved a room at Frog Hollow for our anniversary getaway. When we arrived, we were cheerfully greeted by David and John, who made us feel immediately at home. After introduction and friendly conversation, we were guided to our room which was quite comfortable and very tastefully decorated. Our room actually came with an antechamber / entertainment room, which... More

My boyfriend planned this weekend getaway and it was the perfect setting for relaxation and friendliness. We had fast and easy communication regarding the reservations. We were greeted warmly by John as soon as we pulled in. He took a few minutes to get to know us and then toured us through his beautiful home! We were in awe of... More

My girlfriend and I just returned home from Frog Hollow. It was so difficult to leave. Looking for a little down time to relax, we booked the weekend following thanksgiving. First off, I have to remark on how incredibly beautiful this old house is. Although the home is old, the remodel was very modern and comfortable, without losing it's charm.... More
