The stay was nice. We had a little cottage to ourselves, tucked away near the woods off from the main Bed and Breakfast. It was a surprise for my wife's birthday and it was even more of a surprise when we got there. The place was great and definitely set the mood for a quiet evening just for the two... more

Superb is an understatement. We have stayed in many hotels and B&B's around the country and Frog Hollow is by far the best. John and David made our romantic getaway very special for us. Upon arrival they greeted us with chocolates and wine and immediately had a dinner reservation for us in town. All the detail and care that went... more

My husband and I traveled to Lexington for a class reunion with another couple. We stayed at Frog Hollow and enjoyed a lovely weekend at this perfect, quaint B&B. From the minute we booked, John and David were the most gracious hosts and we really felt like we were staying with friends. We had the pleasure of staying two nights... more

I wanted to take a friend somewhere to thank him for work he had done on my home. This turned out to be a great place and a great weekend. The breakfast was good; on one morning it included eggs with sage, fresh fruit, and fresh blueberry mini-pancakes. The proprietors are friendly and interesting. When making breakfast, they accommodate dietary... more

My husband and I do alot of traveling, and this was one of the most pleasurable B&B we have stayed at. John and David are terrific hosts, excellent cooks (enjoyed the breakfast), and the inn is decorated so beautifully. Our suite was gorgeous. Anything you would want they could provide. We asked about golf, reservations were made, we asked for... more

I have stayed in the Cottage several times and love the privacy and seclusion. Sitting out back in the cool of the evening with a fire in the stove sipping on a Corona... it doesn't get much better. The hot tub is very relaxing, David and John are great hosts and I always book an extra day when I travel... more

We had the pleaseure of staying at Frog Hollow every year for four years while our son attended Washington & Lee University. From the first time, when we were strangers, to the last time for our son's graduation, we always felt like we were returning to see old friends. The breakfast each morning was always wonderfully prepared and beautifully presented.... more

A magnificent old house with incredible charm and terrific amenities. David and John are great hosts and go out of their way to make your visit extra special. They do those special things that make this one of the best bed and breakfasts that we have stayed at.... like making reservations for dinner and providing a little bag of snacks... more
