Very typical Interstate hotel. Very used. Staff is very friendly and the continental breakfast is above average. Rooms were not very well cleaned. Our sheets had hair and some dirt. Bathroom looked wiped down at best but not cleaned. There was a used towel on the back of the door. Beds are older and have foam pads which make lots... More

We stayed on the top floor with our dog. The room smelt like stale smoke, it was obvious someone had smoked there at some point even though they say the hotel is smoke free. The walls are paper thin, we were able to hear our neighbors conversations CLEARLY, word for word. When my husband went to turn on the heater... More

This is a modern hotel just off one of the main routes into the lovely town of Lexington. We stayed in a standard room which was huge! As you entered there was a seating area complete with sofa, TV and coffee table and this area was sectioned off by a clean and modern bathroom and following through to a large... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night while attending an event at Washington & Lee. We checked in and were given room 110. Normally I ask for a room on a high floor away from the elevator and this room was on the first floor very near the elevator. We checked the room before getting our luggage from the... More

My family checked into Room 203 and it was horrible – the ottoman was filthy and stained, soda was spilled on the wall and the tub caulk was moldy. We went back to the front desk and were given Room 302 – the bedspread was disgusting covered in black gunk and again the tub caulk was moldy. Then we were... More

We were looking forward to trying a Sleep Inn but will not know how these motels are due to the Sleep Inn of Lexington. As soon as we entered the 4th floor hallway, we were hit with a very dank smell mixed with cigarette smoke. The cigarette smoke grew STRONG as we entered the room. Not wasting a minute, I... More

We stayed here while attending an event at the Virginia Equestrian Center. It's only a few minutes away. The hotel is not gorgeous from the outside, but it is perfectly maintained. The suite we stayed in was plenty big for our family of four. The beds were way better than expected for a travelers' motel, and the entire place was... More

We stayed for the weekend at the Sleep Inn with our two 7 year olds. My parents and my sister were also with us. We had three rooms. I found the hotel to be a pleasant surprise and a great value for the money. ($79 per night AAA rate.) The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel appears to be... More

It never ceases to amaze me that a prosperous multi-college town like Lexington, Virginia can offer nothing in the way of lodging any nicer than a collection of Best Western, Day's Inn, Comfort Inn, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Sleep Inns. While there are numerous bed and breakfasts available, I've never been one to go in that direction, so... More
