We can usually count on Country Inn and Suites to be a cut above average lodging. As always a nice roomy room and a good breakfast. The thing we love most about this chain is the ability to open the windows for fresh air. VERY comfortable king bed. more

Recently stayed for one night. Rate was not very good considering quality. Room OK, not particularly clean. Musty smell. Breakfast adequate. more

I found this motel to be very nice. My room was a good size and the bed was great. I slept as good here as in any motel I've slept in. Better than 95% of the others. The room was real clean and had the 'extras' one could hope for. The breakfast area is pretty big and has a lot... more

We were visiting W & L over spring break and needed a place for 2 nights. This seemed to fit the bill and was close to the school. Almost missed it from the highway, it is right there when you turn off. Beds were so comfortable and the pillows were great. Rooms was nice and big. Inetrnet worked great. never... more

Nice hotel, rooms were very clean with comfy beds and large bathrooms. Staff was friendly--I asked the maid for more towels and she very happily obliged. Basic contintental breakfast with fresh biscuits and a waffle station. There's a pool & hot tub, so don't forget your bathing suit! more

We stayed here for one night at the end of a long road trip. We were just coming from a superb Country Inn & Suites in Asheville, NC and so were disappointed by the apathetic staff and dirty room. The common areas were nice, the breakfast was good, so it wasn't horrible, just not what we'd expected from the chain.... more

This is a very good location, as the hotel is within walking distance to restaurants and some shopping. We only spent one night, as it provided a place to rest on our way to TN. The Natural Bridge attractions were only minutes away and we recomend that area if you have never been there. more

Family of 4 stayed during May. Beds were comfortable. Safe setting. Fitness room ok. Pool a little dirty. The air in the room stunk. Black oil marks in the tub, cleaned before letting the kids get in the shower. Expected more for the money. We'll stay in one of the newer hotels next time. more

We stayed at the Country Inn and Suites, Lexington on our way to and then from North Carolina. Both times we found the hotel to be clean and the staff was pleasant and could not have been more accomodating. The free continental breakfast was a great way to start the day. I can't think of one negative thing to say... more

Don't stay here! They cancelled our jacuzzi suite room on our wedding night b/c we were not there by check in time. When we arrived they were incredibly rude and unapologetic (even with a crying bride!) we ended up having to find a different hotel in the middle of the night. I could go on and on, but bottom line... more
