Stayed one nite by myself while pedaling the C & O Canal from DC to Pittsburgh. I read previous reviews about long waits for bike shuttle from Whites Ferry and decided to pedal to town, an easy (4.5 mile) relatively flat road with wide berm. Was met by the owner who offered a towel and hose to clean my bike.... More

The TrailBook ad for the C&O Canal and GAP passage claims "Fine Dining & Lodging, 10 Elegant Rooms, 10 Minutes from the C&O Canal... Complimentary Pick-up from White's Ferry". None of that turned out to be true. The dining was a basic café with ordinary menu. The rooms were shabby with water stained walls from the leaky roof, broken furniture,... More

There's a review that says "if you don't check in before 10pm you can't check in". That's not true. I called several time concerned that I wouldn't be able to check in and the staff was more than pleasant in reassuring me that I didn't need to worry. There are 2 establishments attached to the Inn that give you the... More

We were seeing a show at the Tally Ho, and this place was within walking distance. We we stayed in In room 10 which was a comfortable size, but the mattress was really old. We were never able to get anyone to give is the free wifi password, and we were never given the advertised complimentary champagne and cheese tray... More

Leesburg Inn, located right in the middle of historic Leesburg ,is a part of American history. This building has been around since the 18th century. Rooms on the 2nd. floor are all small, but fine. Remember this building has been here for centuries. All have a colonial theme, period decorated and are clean and comfortable. Baths are dated, but really... More

The most attractive part of the inn is its location, smack dab in Leesburg's historic downtown. We were able to walk around and check out some of the cool locales. Parking was free in the parking garage around back because it was a weekend. My friend and I were in Room 8, which overlooks King Street. It was a Saturday... More

None of us checked into the Inn without having read a review, and preparing our own transportation to and from White's Ferry for seven cyclists and "Sag Wagon". The advantages are that the Inn is right in downtown Leesburg which is a very quaint "Canal Town" within easy reach from DC. It's also pretty easy to cycle from the ferry... More

Do Not stay here if you plan on using a shuttle service-which Fabian, the "boss" promises will be no problem to arrange! The instructions that I was given were to call about 30 minutes before we arrived in White's Ferry to give a head's up to the staff and then call when we arrive at the ferry. We were assured that... Stopped on the way from Pittsburgh to D.C. by bike. Owner picked us up at the ferry and someone took us back the next day, at no charge. Staff helped us with our bikes and bags. Nice breakfast in the morning, again at no extra charge. A real bargain! I'm surprised by the negative reviews. Maybe the staff has read... More

Called for our free shuttle service from the ferry. Was told it would be 15-20 minutes. Called back an hour later to see if they forgot about us. Call taker said let me ask "the boss" (the entire stay, everyone kept referring to "the boss" but I never spoke with him). Finally came and got us and tossed our bikes... More
