Staff is great and always a warm smile and hello as you navigate the maze. Spiders all over window in hallway kept me creeped out during stay.

Hi, Thank you so much for your feedback. It's always great to hear how helpful our staff is; it's said that the architectural layout was structured this way to build camaraderie among colleagues walking to meetings or classes together. Thank you for letting us know about the hallway corridor window. I just put in a work order to have it... More

This venue is not only excellent for a conference but the rooms are comfortable, the meals are outstanding. With 2 chefs overseeing the meal preparation, all aspects of the culinary experience while at the NCC are covered very well. The staff is eager to assist any guest. Many of the employees have been working there for many years and are... More

The National Conference Center was designed specifically for trainings; however, they attempted to make learning more palatable with wonderful meals, many amenities, and a courteous, helpful staff. It is a very large center, and hallways and tunnels connect all the buildings, which is a plus as you do not need to go outside, if you do not care to. The... More

Hi, Thank you for your review. We're absolutely delighted you enjoyed your stay at the conference center and were able to see the value in NCC's distraction-free campus. Your headline, "Learning made more enjoyable" is exactly our intention. We're happy you were able to focus on the task at hand and we were able to meet the expectations of your... More

I have visited the NCC five times now in the past six months for various training sessions. Each visit has been unique but the consistent thread has been the wonderful staff and great food. The facilities are perfect for small or large conference gatherings and offer myriad breakout and plenary rooms. Attendees are also able to use the gyms to... More

Sharal, Thank you for your review. We're happy you enjoyed your stay and I'll be sure to share your kind words about our staff and the great food with our front desk and executive chef. It's wonderful to hear you took advantage of the fitness center. Thank you for the helpful advice to others on the proximity to Leesburg and... More

Stayed here one night for a conference and received some of the most pleasant customer service ever! I would prefer not to stay here for conferences, however, as it is most confusing to get around. Food was yummy!

Where to start... First take this review with a grain of salt because this place isn't really a hotel, it is a conference center that caters to large groups of military folk and happens to have sleeping quarters. If you are visiting the area for pleasure I would avoid this place like the plague. For a company looking to book... More

In case you have the misfortune of going there, here are a few tips: 1) The rooms are small (because bathrooms used to be shared--one per floor, so when they added bathrooms into each unit, the units became "micro-hotel" style rooms) so do try and get out about, if the weather permits. If you're claustrophobic, it might be a problem.... More

Hi Sara Jane, Thank you for your input - I have passed along your suggestions to each department. I am happy you found the staff very friendly. I do apologize for your HVAC unit in your guest room. The guestrooms at NCC are European style, so we ask our guests to keep in mind that they are smaller than a... More

Great place for the business portion of your trip, but the sleeping is horrible. The guest room heating system is outdated as are the windows, so you are either left freezing all night or sleeping in a hot box! There is no in between. Everyone in my group has the same complaints and are miserable each morning due the sleeping... More

I stayed here for two weeks for business. Rooms are blah, but clean and warm. I did not understand why cable tv needed 5 different ESPN channels but failed to offer channels (such as TLC, HGTV, Lifetime) geared towards women. Otherwise, the TV here has the basic networks plus HBO, TBS, and TNT. Our conference room was bland, but our... More

Hi Laura, We're glad you enjoyed your stay and dining experience at The National Conference Center. I stayed at the National Conference Center for a week in March, 2009. It is mainly for conferences, but I think you can book a room just like any other hotel. The facility is a bit far from Washington D.C. if you are a tourist, so either you need a car or you should plan to stay at the conference... More
