I've been coming here for years and just several years ago it was great, but it is in major decline now. It seems as if the owners have lost all interest. The restaurant is closed. There was no fuel when we were there and the whole place was depressing. They had a fire last year that took out some big... More

Stayed in the "bed & breakfast" - No one at the restaurant had any clue about a breakfast, no towels, room smelled musty. It does have the word resort in the name and they charge you like it is a resort. We pulled up to the marina and was helped in to the... More

This is a really nice marina, and the bar/restaurant is really nice. The foliage views over the water in fall were stunning. Be warned, this is rural America. There's no 7-11's, Starbucks, laser-tag, etc anywhere near. If you can't entertain yourself with outside activity and don't enjoy the simple things in life you are looking at the wrong area to... We thought we were staying in a sweet, little cottage... but it was a trailer. Fortunately, unlike the other three (who had a back view of the rest of the trailers), ours had a view of the river. That was the only plus I can think of... Let me give you an idea of the place and you can make... More
