I Recently visited for a last minute weekend night, my husband & I stayed in The Taylor room cottage due to bringing a small pup. First the good news, the room was clean and nice, with a touch of a citrus scent. It had a cute little porch. It was nice that they offer cottages for guests bringing a small dog. The... More

This facility is beyond excellent, located in rural coastal Va. It has all top grade amenities, a superb restaurant. It is a small and secluded a hide away in the middle of a quaint small town. Service is personal and efficient. Family-run and owned, the Inn offers very friendly and genuinely gracious attention to its residents. This is one of... More

What a wonderful respite from the hustle and bustle of DC! Kilmarnock is a lovely town, and Kilmarnock Inn, the jewel in the crown. Our rooms were immaculate, service was warm and impeccable, and the dining, delicious. The owners, Sandy & Shawn, are clearly invested in the community and extend that community welcome to their guests. I'll make the 3... More

We spent three nights in the Tyler Room that directly overlooks the rear courtyard. The room was quite nice, with a comfortable bed, TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker with supplies, and a writing desk. We only ate breakfasts at the inn but they were deliciously prepared and served in the elegant White House themed dining rooms. Our servers, Ashley and... More

My husband & I decided to take an overnight trip to the Northern Neck of Virginia. We stopped in Kilmarnock for the night and found a B&B right in the downtown area. The main "house" was beautifully decorated with period pieces from the 1800's and the overall theme honored past Presidents - The Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Harrison, Taylor, and... I Lost my wife last week and I had a family dinner at the Inn tonight for my immediate family which included three granddaughters ages 8, 6, and 5. The food was absolutely excellent as it has always been, but the service was simply exceptional. The owner took the three granddaughters back to the kitchen and they returned with all... More

What a lovely inn in a quaint own. The inn is decorated beautifully. 5 different cottages with 15 rooms total. We went 2 couples. We were given the upstairs in a cottage with a large balcony. The rooms had friges, queen size beds and good size bathrooms. In the evening we sat on the balcony and talked...so nice. All the... More

My stay in the Tyler Room was wonderful. Queen size bed, ceiling fan, great AC, nice size TV and lovely porch to enjoy a cocktail after work. Nice hardwood floors, modern decor yet it still has the feel of a cozy B&B. The owners are more than accommodating for business travelers, including serving breakfast earlier than normal to enable us... More

This place is ADORABLE! The pictures don't do it justice. Originally wanted to book at The Tides Inn or the Hope and Glory Inn but they were full. Now after staying here, not sure I would go anywhere else. Stayed one night in the Madison cottage which is a one room/bath cottage with front porch and private back yard. Cottage... More
