Planning a trip to Monticello, so decided to try Keswick Hall. Driving up we were impressed by the entrance and the grand building. Bellhop service was attentive, and the front hall was impressive. We were there midweek and had two rooms on the third floor. Both rooms were spacious with ornate beds, great linens and wonderful amenities. My only complaint... More

Went for my wife's birthday. Service impeccable in every department. Ate at all three restaurants and liked them all. Good food, friendly attentive service and reasonable prices for a luxury resort. The infinity pool is to die for. Other pool is very nice and fitness club more than adequate. We booked a junior suite and loved the room. Quite large... More

This was a second trip to Keswick for a conference. The location is very close to Charlottesville, just a couple of miles off 64 and about 5-10 minutes from 29. The property is a hunt and country club with a beautiful looking golf course, nestled amid classically rolling hills. It is well-situated in the bucolic Virginia countryside, but rather close... From the moment we met Lisa at the front desk, our stay at the Keswick became magical. She was a true professional and was accommodating in every way. My husband and I are runners and Lisa gave us maps of runs to do on the property which was beautiful. We were celebrating our 10th anniversary and Lisa went out of... More

We recently attended a wedding at Keswick. Hotel and grounds are beautiful. Ceremony and cocktail hour sites overlooking golf course was great. Food was excellent. Only semi-negative is that reception room shaped like a T with the band and dance floor at top and the tables down the long leg, so some of the energy is lost as you get... More

For our wedding anniversary, we stayed overnight at Keswick (where we were married). I planned an intimate surprise anniversary dinner party in the Treble Wine Cellar, with the help of the wonderful staff at Keswick. Chef Cross created an amazing five course dinner experience for us. From appetizers to the main entrée, every part of the meal was exquisite. Our... More

After planning with Keswick for six months, a Pre-Law School Graduation Dinner for sixteen people, it became a nightmare. Casting a disappointing atmosphere over the evening. The table for the guest was given to another group, even though they were present on time. Two round tables were then pushed together and improperly set. The staff spoke in Spanish continuously around... More

Nothing like looking out from what feelings like a French chateau and seeing the patches of fog scattered over the hills. This is really the best property we have stayed at in the Charlottesville area and the closest thing to a Four Seasons this side of DC. The rooms are very comfortable and modern but with some old world charm.... More

I have visited Keswick twice this year with my family and both times we have had an excellent experience. It is very near to Monticello and some wineries so it makes a great weekend or weekday visit location. This is an upscale, boutique hotel with the feel of a large mansion where the staff gets to know you and provides... More

Enjoyed a relaxing one night stay at this gorgeous historic property in November. We dined at Fossett's for dinner and breakfast and enjoyed both meals. A nice bar is available for drinks or to hang out in the evening. Our room was small, but clean and decorated with antiques. We would definitely return again when in the area.
