We spent the July 4th weekend here. This is my first time writing any review because it was such a lovely place where I never felt so welcomed before (even with my four year old son!) When we arrived, the owner's brother,Trent (whom is the key person who made the stay such an unique experience for my son as well!)... More

We had a memorable and wonderful stay at the Glen Gordon Manor in May 2014. Trent greeted us with beverages, while we had a great afternoon at the beautiful pool. We stayed in the Windsor Suite, which was amazing. It was very spacious, beautifully decorated with a large bathroom and tub overlooking the barn (and horses). The room was also... More

Go to Glen Gordon Manor. Spend a night or two. Order a specially prepared dinner. Sharon and I did, and we're glad of it. The Blue Ridge Mountains are special, and Glenn Gordon Manor, nestled in them, is special too. The stresses of the DC Metropolitan Area evaporated the moment we arrived and Dawn handed us a glass of champagne.... More

We first experienced Dayn's culinary skills at Castleton and were excited to visit Glen Gordon Manor. We were greeted by Trent and Dawn with champagne. Every course was outstanding and the setting is beautiful.

My wife and I so appreciated the night we shared at Glen Gordon Manor. From the quiet, spacious grounds to the spacious room (The Edward in the West Wing), we loved the ambiance. We so appreciated the private outdoor jacuzzi, the fabulous king bed, and comfortable rain head in the shower. The dinner in the Houndstooth Restaurant was a true... More

Glen Gordon Manor is by far one of our favorite getaways close to DC. It is the perfect place to relax and be pampered. The rooms and linens are very luxurious and kept exceptionally clean. Dayn and Trent are both excellent chefs and the food rivals many of the best restaurants in DC. This is not your typical bed and... More

Terrific one-night getaway for my wife and I. We wish we could have stayed longer. The property is gorgeous and everyone was friendly and helpful. Trent served a wonderful meal for us for dinner, and then Dayn's breakfast was also terrific. The mood is calming and easygoing -- very classy, but not pretentious either...right on the perfect pitch. We were... More

We had a lovely dinner at houndstooth restaurant! Fine dining, 6 course perfectly prepared and served meal, with very good wine pairings. We first experienced chef Dayn Smiths expertise at the Castleton Festival opening night, and again, when he cooked for Castleton guests before the evenings events. We were delighted and then went to his Houndstooth Restaurant which is part... More

Took my 78 year old momma here for a belated birthday & Mother's Day celebration. Her husband had major surgery a few months prior & recovered with flying colors. He was celebrating his 82nd birthday too. We all enjoyed every minute & would recommend a visit !

I discovered thiss gem online abouta year and a half ago. I immediately put it on my 'wish list.' But with three young kids I didn't really think that it would happen. When my husband surprised me with a trip to GGM it far exceeded our very-high expectaions! The views and grounds are spectacular. Our bathroom window overlooked a pristine... More
