We spent 5 nights at this beautiful Inn to do a project team retreat for several members of our company. Everything was absolutely FABULOUS!! Noel and Sammie did a fantastic job on every single meal (yes, we had -on some days- 3 meals a day at this B&B) with regard to the quality, quantity, flavor and presentation of the meals.... More

Beth- Thank you so very much for your thoughtful and kind review! Your team was a wonderful group to care for and we only can hope that we will see each of you again! Please stop by next time you are in the area for a glass of wine and a hello! Take care until then! Kindest Regards, The Inn... More

The Inn at Vineyards Crossing saved our weekend. We were driving from Charleston, SC on a Friday afternoon to spend the weekend in Northern VA to attend an event at a local winery. The B&B that we had reserved called us in route and I quote “we have a water main break and I am not sure if we will... More

As a base for exploring Northern Virginia's wine country, this inn is perfectly located. The inn itself is comfortable; the breakfast is quite good. With a few tweaks, however, the overall experience could have been more cozy and relaxing. While I don't much like an obtrusive host, I think it's possible to have too little interaction with the guests. It... More

We've been interested in staying at the Inn since it's opening and finally got the chance this past August. The house is very lovely and it really adds to the character of the place having the historic tavern attached. Our room was quite lovely and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Being checked in with a glass of local wine was... More

About 6 miles off of Rte 66--into Hume, VA--a delightful newer facility--attached to a 1700's pub. Nice rooms, great food, professional service--pool and hot tub. This is a great base for visiting local vineyards and restaurants. Try--Naked Mountain Winery-(0ne of many) experience a tasting, a light food plate, a pleasant setting and a great hostess--along with excellent prices. We will... More

Our stay was so relaxing that we are already planning a return this fall. Highly recommend at least 2 days to completely enjoy this wonderful Inn. We added a day at the last minute and are so thankful our instincts were right. We stayed in the Viognier room which was just what we envisioned, comfortable. Everything about our stay was... More

For our anniversary, our daughter gave us a three day stay and wine tasting/tour at the Inn. The reviews online were positive and a bit interesting. My husband is a history buff so we stayed in the Commonwealth Room. Noel gave us the history of the house and filled us in on haunted experiences other travelors conveyed. We toured the... More

Our stay at this lovely Inn was as Wine Camp (sponsored by Philip Carter Winery) participants. To review the Inn itself, I would have to say it is beautifully and comfortably appointed. The Inn was clean and well maintained. The common rooms accommodate 10 guests comfortably and are great places to engage in conversation or just relax. The Inn has... More

We recently stayed at the inn for my sisters wedding. The inn was originally a historic tavern and The house connected was great for a relaxing visit. The swimming pool was quite lovely and the flowers added a great touch around the pool. It is nestled in a quiet but beautiful area of the Shenandoah valley. The wedding was held... More

My wife and I had the great pleasure to stay at the Inn while attending Wine Camp July 11-13, 2014. Wine Camp runs over a weekend and involves wine education and tastings at 5 wineries located near the Inn in Hume, VA. Wine Camp is a relatively new event experience sponsored by the local wineries in conjuction with the Inn.... More
