I recently stayed at Mariners Landing for a weekend and throughly enjoyed it. The condos were clean and spacious, we loved the pools and private beach and found the staff very helpful and friendly. Although the restaurant was closed, our condo had a full-size kitchen where we could cook breakfast, and we found plenty of great restaurants in the local... More

I’ve visited Mariners Landing many times and love the atmosphere and accommodations. The resort is a condotele and like many other similar resorts (especially outside metro areas) it has limited hours of operation for the front desk, as they clearly state in their email confirmations. They offer 24-hour managers on duty and maintenance assistance, so we’ve always received prompt service... More

Terrible service from the start. Making a reservation was like talking to someone who didn't work there or didn't care. My wife and I were going there for a wedding. Upon arrival we could not even check in because other maintenance staff was too busy talking/ flirting with the staff that was supposed to be helping us. Good thing we... More

So many problems don't know where to start. Room was NOT clean. The floors and carpet are in dire need of a deep cleaning. Our feet were black from the dirt. Had to clean kitchen before I would even use for cooking. Tile floor had black marbling, but was supposed to be cream colored. Front desk was not open during... More

We just got back from a 3 night stay at Mariner's Landing and we loved the location and the peacefulness of the scenery. There are only two potentially negative things that I can say about the faciliities at all: there is no restaurant on premise or near the resort at all, which was kind of inconvenient. There is a "snack"... More

Just got back from a long weekend at the Mariners Landing and we did not have any of the issues other posters on this sight experienced. The staff was very nice and helpful, the room was very clean. We stayed in unit 245 and we had a very nice few of the lake. We brought most of our own food... More

The family stayed here during graduation weekend at Liberty University. The property was quite beautiful. However, it was far-removed from civilization. GPS is highly recommended to navigate here. The fact that its location is so remote is both a blessing and a curse. It's actually more of a curse if you plan on visiting in May. The on-site restaurant and... More

Beautiful view, friendly, attentive and efficient desk staff, adequately equipped kitchen and the routine housekeeping was fine (well vacuumed; very clean kitchen and bath). However, the 1-BR unit we were given was in dire need of having the heavily stained carpet and couch shampooed plus the mattress cover on the pull-out was very dirty. Pull-out couch mattresses are never comfortable... More

Weekend 45th reunion, enjoyed every moment. Although a little pricey, the 3 br (some outlets not working, baths could have been cleaner) gave me plenty of own space, views and hospitality from Benjamin's staff outweighed any negatives. Grandkids did not want to leave, every min fun. Bringing all family members and extended members back in May for Mom's 83 BD... More
