Our first visit to SML - we loved it and Mariners Landing was such a pretty spot and nice resort - although not luxurious. The view was beautiful from the pool area and our 2BR condo at the Pointe. Even though it was a busy weekend (Labor Day) it was very calm and relaxing stay which was what we were... more

SML is a very nice quaint low key resort. It was a great place to enjoy the view of the lake. The resort and grounds are very nice and well kept. Benjamin's has great staff and the food was good also. I would definitely recommend this for both families and others looking to have a nice laid back time away... more

My wife and I, along with our young children, just returned from a weekend stay at Mariners Landing at Smith Mountain Lake. The occasion of our visit was a family reunion, and our group totaled about 30 people. The resort was great, and was particularly so for the nature of our visit (there seemed to be at least 2 other... more

My visit was only a day trip but what a beautiful facility. Wonderful lake views and great food at Benjamin's. We ate outside overlooking tha lake activity. Our food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. Looking forward to staying longer next time. more

At our recent visit at "Benjamin's at the Pointe" at Mariner's Landing, we had an awesome time. The restaurant was to die for. The servers were very attentive to our needs and over accomodating to our requests. The food was incredible and very creative, and the atmosphere was exciting and fun. The desserts were something to write home about, delicious!... more

Everything was nice, including the grounds. My husband and I had a relaxing dinner at Benjamin's at the Pointe. Food was excellent and found the wait staff to be very helpful and friendly. We went back on a Sat. in May to spend the day and have dinner at Benjamin's. Food was great, especially the mushroom bisque soup. I was... more

Mariners Landing is a great place to stay. The facilities meet the standard accustomed to. The condos are clean and well stocked. Housekeeping, done daily, does a great job. They have boat slips for rent which is a super plus. Having to trailer your boat or PWC nightly can be a pain. But as noted in previous review, stay away... more

The hotel is nice, clean, friendly staff. The restaurant is horrible. The raw oysters came out warm, the desert had garlic in it, I almost threw up. Save your money and go up the street to the local bar/diner the White House, nothing special but decent food at a decent price. more

My husband and I went to a wedding at Mariners Landing. We stayed at the Pointe at Mariners Landing. Accommodations were excellent!! We also played golf and went swimming. Everything was top notch. Both the wedding ceremony and reception were at Mariners Landing. The wedding ceremony was in the gazebo by the lake, and the reception was in a banquet... more
