This property is a perfect place to stay for parents weekend or graduation. The staff is fabulously friendly and the rates are very reasonable even during high demand times. The room was well appointed and very clean. Finally, it is plenty close to the JMU campus and just far enough away to be quiet and not traffic-filled.

I really liked this hotel. When you first walk in the door you can see the spacious indoor pool area with its high ceilings and skylights. Our wheelchair accessible room was just down from the pool so we were able to wheel right from our back door to the pool. The staff were very knowledgable about the pool lift and... More

This was a very nice hotel. Had one small issue, and the desk offered to fix it promptly. Got a good night's sleep, quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was OK, but we weren't expecting fine dining. Pretty much the same breakfast choices as all HI's...but clean, and served appropriately. This was the best place to stay within 200 miles...the price... More

After a long drive, we were happy to walk into a hotel that was friendly, welcoming and inviting. Check-in was a breeze - the front desk staff, in particular Zack, gave us a hearty welcome and thanked us for choosing their hotel. His demeanor was professional and warm. We needed to change rooms, and he accommodated us with no problem.... More

Stayed here for a last minute getaway with our boys! Hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. Hotel was clean and inviting. Room was spacious and very clean. Bed was comfy and much needed after a long day of driving! Breakfast was delicious! Indoor pool and jacuzzi were and added bonus. Good value compared to hotels in the same area with... More

I like this side of Harrisonburg. Hotel was clean and my room was a king with a comfy bed. Breakfast was typical hot breakfast. Serve yourself type deal. Staff was very nice. Bath fan works like a champ for getting ready in the am. Right off the interstate but far enough to be perfect for noise. Couple of gas stations... More

My husband and I came late at night and the very nice lady at the front desk was very helpful. She only had 1 room left and it wasn't the one I had seen online. She honored the room price without a problem. The room was large and clean with a jacuzzi in the corner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.... More

Bad rooms windows blocked by a building. There are some rooms on the other side looking at a shady gas station. I don't recommend. You are better of at the other Holiday Inn by the highway 33. If this was New York this may be considered normal but not in this country side. If you plan to visit university area... More

Dear Bhantol, I am very sorry for this inconvenience during your stay, unfortunately in two of our rooms the view is blocked by the building for our indoor pool. I hope that if you choose to stay with us again we can place you in our other rooms which have a full view for your satisfaction. We value your feedback... More

This was a last minute emergency trip, we have stayed at Holiday Inn Express hotels in several locations. Harrisonburg VA is a large college town, so we felt lucky to get a room. The room, as expected, was large and clean, bathroom was very nice and very clean. Large fridge and microwave in the room. The breakfast available in the... More

We spent a night here on our way home to the north. We had a non-smoking room with king bed. The room was comfortable and included a good size mini fridge with freezer. Wifi was free but a little slow. The room was fresh and clean but there was a tobacco smell in the elevator and hall way.
