A bit hard to find at night when we arrived, but check-in was fast and friendly. We were surprised at the size of the room, the high ceiling, and the modern decor. The breakfast wasn't so great though. All in all great value for the money. more

I highly recommend Holiday Inn Express in Harrisonburg. My wife and our three-year-old stayed here during our trip from CT to GA. As many other reviewers mentioned, this hotel has some pretty large rooms. Just stayed here with daughter while visiting James Madison Univ. Great hotel, updated rooms, clean, spacious, and room smelled great when we got there. Beds are pretty comfortable with pillows that are labeled "soft" and "hard". The rainwater shower head had unbelievably great water pressure. Breakfast was very good. Staff was extremely friendly. This hotel is conveniently located right off of the highway. Free parking, nice staff, clean room and a better-than-average complimentary breakfast. The hotel photo accurately represents the room. I would definitely stay here again. more
