Best food, best location, best nights sleep, best rooms, best staff and best service in Virginia! We were in a wedding party two blocks away and we could come and go with out worrying about our safety or our personal items. Best stay at a B & B ever.

Such a pitty, that the room is so worn out. At usd 160 there are other and better places to stay. We booked this Inn, because of the restaurant, which is really great ! We did sleep and woke up early as no curtains ! BUT the breakfast was great :) I think they better start maintaining the house before... More

I use the JWH as a stop-over on my drive from RI to NC--the single traveler rate makes it an economical choice! I think I have stayed in each of the rooms, and all have very comfortable beds. There are many good restaurants within walking distance (one day I will arrive on the right day to eat dinner at the... More

The Joshua Wilton House is a charming place to stay and very convenient to I 81 and James Madison University. The rooms and baths are very comfortable and the service was excellent as was the breakfast. The best part of this property is the very fine restaurant which is open to the public and a great place for dinner. Also... More

We made a quick trip through Virginia and stayed at the bed and breakfast. The room and service were excellent. I really appreciated that they had a place to get drink and had a great beer selection right at the B&B. After a day on the road my wife and I are ready for a drink and some time to... More

My husband and I spent three nights at the Joshua Wilton House Inn back in May. We loved it and would stay again. The room was clean and the Inn overall was well-kept. The food was excellent. Breakfast every morning included homemade items (yogurt, granola, pastries, etc). We had dinner at the Inn one night which I would also recommend.... More

Joshua wilton house was A wonderful place to stay and relax. The room was clean and just as we expected. Lots of fun to explore Harrisonburg's wineries and restaurants, and of course JMU. We'll definitely come back again.

We arrived just before 3pm and found the key under the front mat. We were given room 5 which was newly renovated. It had a 4 poster bed, fireplace, antique dresser and small table. The bathroom was dated but clean. No hair dryer and the mattress has seen better days...not at all comfortable. Unfortunately there construction across the street and... More

The inn was light on staffing the weekend I stayed, so I'm unsure if this common during late spring. The breakfast service was slow even though the inn was not full. The same meal was served Saturday and Sunday and was quite good, if minimal. Monday's breakfast was bagels served by one of the owners who said no one did... More
