My husband reserved the Duke Elllington suite for us to celebrate our anniversary and my graduation from grad school at Regent University's School of Education. The ammenities and were superb and the Blair's thoughtfulness and attention to detail was spectacular. We were greeted with a freshly baked strawberry shortcake the evening of our arrival. The snacks, teas, and breakfasts were... More

We love B&B's, but this one is unique! Magnolia House is a beautifully-restored Victorian home, filled with thoughtfully-arranged art, antiques, good books, and memories. Joyce and Lankford are not only superb cooks, they are thoughtful and knowledgeable hosts who really make you feel welcome in the home they love and part of their very special family. Any thing you might... More

This is a charming and lovingly restored B&B not far from downtown Norfolk or Hampton, VA. It is close to museums and restaurants and is in a good location. Joyce and Lankford were incredibly gracious and friendly Innkeepers, always ready to help in anyway, give directions or answer questions. The breakfasts were outstanding and Joyce makes the absolutely most amazing... More

My husband and I got married at The Magnolia House Inn after we decided to elope from Canada. It was a wonderful experience. Both Joyce and Lankford were very sweet and helpful. The ceremony was very tasteful and professional. Their home is beautiful and provided a perfect environment to take pictures after the ceremony. We couldn't have asked for more.... More

I had to plan my wedding in less than 12 days and the Blairs were a great help. I found the Magnolia House Inn through tireless hours of searching for a place to have my sunrise wedding. I had pretty specific ideas of what I wanted and the first being I wanted a sunrise wedding meaning we had to be... More

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay with the Blairs. It was my boyfriend's first Bed and Breakfast experience so he was a tad leery. Great breakfast, great snacks, great conversation, great innkeepers, and great stay!!!

This was my third stay with Joyce and Lankford, and as with previous stays, it was just delightful. The Magnolia House is my home away from home in Hampton, truly like visiting family. On this particular visit, I was suffering a bit from allergies, and Joyce was so caring, making my favorite warm cider and sharing her special seafood chowder... More

I checked out of the Magnolia House this morning and writing this review was #1 on my to do list for when I got back home. I stayed at the Magnolia House to celebrate my birthday after having a rough few weeks. I stayed in The Haven which was a gorgeous room. The four poster bed and beautiful chair and... More

Once again we enjoyed a marvelous visit at the Magnolia House Inn. This time we traveled from our new home in the Flordia Keys to our favorite B & B. Lankford and Joyce are the ultimate innkeepers and have become our friends. As usual, our room (the Haven) was just that....a cozy nook to relax in after a whirlwind visit... More

This is a gorgeous house (built in 1885)and the hosts make you feel more like family. Every tiny detail was taken care of. There was nothing we needed or wanted because it was done for us. The home was immaculate and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious. I can't possibly say enough about stay!
