I stayed at this Embassy Suites with my boyfriend from 6/5-6/6/09 for a romantic getaway. I was in awe as soon as I walked in the lobby. It is a very fancy place. Very impressive to say the least. Check in was smooth and we were taken care of very efficiently. The staff were genuinely great people. They went above... more

We have used this hotel several times over the past 2-3 years and routinely find the accommodations and staff to be above par even for an Embassy Suite. Since most of our stays are around a holiday or over a weekend, we find rates that make the hotel a good deal, too. During our December 2008 stay, however, we found... more

While as I live in Hampton, VA, I do like to pamper myself. For my birthday on 11-15, I stayed at the Embassy Hotel for 2 days. I enjoyed every minute of it. The Botanical Spa massage and facial experience was excellent and most relaxing. The evening reception was nice(I would recommend that they add finger sandwiches as part of... more

We are from NJ and stayed here overnight as a stop over on our way down to the Outer Banks. This place was fantastic. What a beautiful hotel. We had a fantastically clean, large room on the third floor with lovely views of the atrium. The room was large enough to accommodate all four of us; two adults in the... more

Our family of 5 stayed at the Hampton, Virginia Embassy Suites on the way to the Outer Banks. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained. The decor was a step above what I would expect in a hotel. Although there were three large family reunions and a wedding taking place the night we were there, we did not hear... more

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. What I expected for an Embassy Suites. Typical Embassy Suites lobby, and very good breakfast and manager's reception. The hotel is very close to several restaurants, including my favorite, Outback Steakhouse. My girlfriend and I stayed there while visiting VA Beach and Busch Gardens Williamsburg...There was a family reunion or two going on at... more

My family and I have stayed at this hotel several times and NEVER did we ever have to pay a $50/night deposit. My husband and I booked 4 nights at this hotel recently and at check-in they told me I need to give them my credit card (even though I paid for the room in advance). I thought it was... more

The hotel is a typical 3 star hotel, located within walking distance of a main road ( Mercury Blvd), with plenty of restaurants, stores, and a shopping mall. The lobby is the best feature of this hotel, with wonderfully bright color and panoramic view elevators. There is a coffee shop ( Starbucks) and Cyprus restaurant ( overpriced... $34 for lunch;... more

Stayed here on two seperate nights during the week while on business. Hotel is the standard Embassy Suites atrium but it's on the smaller side. It's decor is a bit 90's (reds and oranges) but pretty clean. No real issues except I was given a non-smoking room that someone had smoked in but they quickly gave me another. Paying $10... more

I am visiting Norfolk frequently for work. Having had less than successful experiences with the fancy hotels in downtown Norfolk, I opted to stay a little further out and cross my fingers. I have stayed here in three different rooms across three different weeks so far. The rooms at the Embassy Suite are lovely. Very clean, very comfortable and up... more
