I was very pleased with my stay at the Days Inn in Hampton. It's important to say firstly that this is an older hotel, so don't expect top of the line bathroom fixtures or flat screen tvs. Instead you'll get a great, central location, knowledgeable staff and every amenity you need to conduct business away from home. I saved a... more

We arrived there by accident. We planned on going to a hotel in Norfolk but this location was perfect. It's near everything. The guy worked out a really cool deal for the 2 night stay. Everything was awesome until we got to the room on the backside of the hotel. There was a pungent smell of urine right outside the... more

First of all, the hotel is in a really bad area. I went into my room and found that the toilet was not cleaned (urine stains on the seat) and more than a few hairs on the toilet and in the bathroom. There was mildew/mold on the shower tile. The bathroom fan did not work and was extreamly dirty. I... more

I encounted a bug in the bed. It looked liked a bed bug. I thought it was dead until while Im talking to the front desk we saw it move. I was so upset because I was tired and had to move prior to this room from next door. It was to be non-smoking and it was not it had... more

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! I called in December and booked the room for Three Nights because of the Joyce Meyer Conference that was in town. I called several times to confirm my rooms because I knew that if i did not have a room on the day of the event that it would be impossible to locate one when... more

Several people, myself included booked rooms here on 10/1/08 and after confirming the reservation a few weeks later we were happy. Fast forward 4 months and a friend called the hotel to check on their reservation only to be told there wasn't any record of it and you are basically SOL because they overbooked the hotel by 22 rooms. No... more

I'll start with the positive first. The only good thing that I can say about this hotel is the person that checked us in was very kind and went over and above to right the company's error in booking. We booked a King bed, but when we arrived were told they only offered Double beds. Imagine our eyes and frustration... more

This is one of the few motels in Hampton that has a pool and is under $100 on a weekend during the busy summer months. You can negotiate a weekly rate if there isn't a special event going on. During the week there were construction crews staying at the motel, but they were quiet. I was awakened several mornings before... more

Do not expect too much of this motel. Be prepared for a major headache upon arrival, as you will not be able to open the room doors - guaranteed! In fact, their lock system is so broken that they need to send up a maintenance person whenever someone checks in... The matresses were cheap, the beds squeaky, and the shower... more

This hotel is the WORST hotel I have EVER stayed in. It is FILTHY, it seems to be located next to the projects and there was pretty much nothing available for the breakfast. Do not stay here, it is awful. more
