Well I am not sure why there are so many horor stories in these reviews. My extended family stayed here for one night 7/3/09 and we had 10 rooms reserved. We were checked in in a timely and freindly manner and all 10 rooms were fine with no issues noted. We were set up in a semi private dinning area... more

I can't believe how NASTY and FILTHY this hotel was. I came to the location on official military travel and I can NOT believe the government is paying for this. The first room I was given was unbelievably FILTHY and smelled horribly of cigarrette smoke!! I requested another room and they gave me the room right next door to the... more

I stayed at the Best Western for one night (5/23/09) over the Memorial Day weekend. The rooms were a nice size, and I enjoyed the variety on the breakfast buffet. Upon checkout I paid for my room with cash, and they released the hold on my card that was used to reserve the room, or so I thought that would... more

Arrived 5-23-09 to find our room had been given away.after we had booked online 2 weeks prior. So they stuck us in another room which was by the lobby HORRIBLE!!!!!! We could hear yelling and this was all night long... then our keys did not work, much more to say, this was at 10:30pm the first night we were in... more

My first clue that this was going to be a bad experience was watching the police escort a guest in handcuffs out the front door as we were checking in. But...it got worse. The "heated" pool has a sign on the door describing a broken heater. Needless to say, the pool was freezing. The "computer" room had two computers, both... more

I couldn't believe it. The Hotel has been upgraded so nicely. Keeping the well feel of an older hotel but with new amenities. THe deluxe continental breakfast was amazing, meeting in a restuarant for free breakfast. So much better than picking up a danish at the front desk or in the lobby. This was is always gonna be on my... more

Could have gone either Terrible or OK but some problems. This is definitely NOT a 3 star hotel. Staff at front desk is indifferent. Property was very cold, and I caught one. Computer in business center didn't work. Both bars of soap were broken; had probably been sitting there a long time. Sports bar that was supposed to serve pizza... more

Let me start by saying we arrived at 1:30am in the morning after our flight was delayed into Norfolk. We are so thankful our flight was late... that way we only had to spend about 4 hours in this dreadful hotel!!!! Check-in was fine. Then we arrived at the room, opened door to a VERY musky smell. OK... we thought... more

Our room was clean and most of the staff we encountered were friendly but the wireless internet was terrible and didnt work most of time. The indoor was nice but half the time they closed it early. There was no free breakfast and the cheapest item on the on site restaurant's menu was a croissant for almost $6.00. The bathroom... more
