We loved this campground so much we have booked 2 more stays here. We love it because it's a stone throw away from several breweries and not far from my all time favorite antique store, The Rockfish Gap. The spots are not huge nor are they small and the scenery is just to die for. The staff is so very... More

This place was the best of 4 campgrounds we stayed at during a 2-week family trip (the others being in New Jersey, Tennesee, and Baltimore). We wish we had stayed here longer but had a somewhat rigid trip without a lot of flexibility in it. We drove a trailer here, and got very lucky in that were given the spot... More

To start, this campground has alot of upgrades going on. It has numerous entertainment for children and pets. Very scenic. The sites are big and cozy. There is limited full hookup sites, so book early. Nice camping experience the numerous times we have visited.

Convenient location for travelers...right off the hwy! I stayed one night in cabin #1 with a futon and bunk bed. Some would consider the cabin to be "roughin it" but I loved it! Right in the beauty of the woods & the people were very friendly. My only compliants/suggestions would be that the futon was as hard as a rock...couldn't... More

This was our first experience with Misty Mountain and we could not be more pleased. We had a water/electric site by the creek and it was so relaxing. It is very close to 151 for those interested in the wineries/breweries. The kids had activities to participate in all Saturday long and had a blast. They had hay rides, pumpkin hunts,... More

Been here twice and dearly love ambience. Nothing more invigorating than camping beside a babbling creek. We have a 40' MH and chose just elect and water so we can do creekside camping. Office store accommodating and the best ever equipped.

Stayed a Saturday night and had a wonderful time. The place looked booked and some sites (like ours) were close to others as well as the interstate however, it was quiet and peaceful. The country store had everything we needed (you always forget something). The campground was next door to a market where we were able to get fresh local... More

Great location, close to the Charlottesville. The impressive part about this place is how the management continually strives to make the place better. Our family really enjoys tent camping here when we do our annual Monticello Fall Festival.

This was our first time traveling and pulling our camper up into the mountains. In addition we were meeting friends at the campground who were gonna rent a couple of cabins. When we arrived we were informed that the original campsite we had reserved had been given to another camper to accommodate their request to be closer to another group.... More

This RV Park is within a 25 minute drive to Montecello. The Park's staff are very friendly and helpful. The grounds are well maintained and clean. Most stay up in the front but I preferred the creek and along the back. The sites are spacious there and afford a nice view of the hillside and the park. I would definitely... More
