For the past 19 years we have sped past Goshen, Virginia on our way to nearby Warm Springs. Recently we finally stopped in Goshen and, as part of a LivingSocial package, we spent two very pleasant days at the Hummingbird Inn. The owners, Patty and Dan Harrison have achieved a perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness which was evident not... More

The Hummingbird Inn is a gem situated in a rural, once prosperous village. Located a short ride to areas that combine history, (gorgeous) scenery (mountains and lush rolling hills), wineries, museums and colleges, hot springs, farms, excellent food (multiple farm-to-table and organic options), exploring and hiking plus the home is inviting and interesting (with lots of hummingbirds, butterflies and bees... My wife and I visited the Hummingbird Inn as part of a package deal. We were able to use it during Labor Day weekend and jumped at the chance. We've stayed at several B&Bs in the Shenandoah area over the past couple of years but the Hummingbird was definitely the best we've seen so far. The owners Patty and Dan... More

Patty and Dan are the ultimate hostess and host .... their home is YOUR home. Absolutely beautiful rooms; old, historic house in great shape with modern conveniences in each room. The grounds are quiet and beautiful. And we quickly realized the reason it's called the Hummingbird Inn -- fascinating all the hummingbirds! We took a beautiful drive into Lexington via... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hummingbird Inn. Dan and Patty were wonderful hosts and the breakfast on both mornings was delicious! We will definitely be coming back to stay. We got the living social package and it came with so many things for us to do, very fun filled weekend!

Our stay was short - only two nights so only one full day, but we made the most of it. Patty and Dan are wonderful hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. Our first night, we went to dinner in Staunton at the Mill Creek Grill. Our whole experience there was great - food, service and the mint ice cream... More

We were looking for a weekend trip and decided on the Hummingbird Inn as we saw it on Living Social. The stay was relaxing and enjoyable. Patty and Dan are excellent innkeepers and have a wealth of knowledge to share about the Inn and the surrounding area. You will not want to miss Patty's breakfast as it is a wonderful... More

I had never stayed at a B&B before. Being a city girl, the thought of staying in a strangers house scared me. My experience could not have been better. The Owners are wonderful, the inn was lovely, rooms were spacious, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean...what more could you ask for?!?!?! A Friend and I got a living... More

My husband and I had a very relaxing time at the Hummingbird in late July. Our hosts Patty and Dan were very accomodating and put together a wonderful package of activities. The inn is very pretty and comfortable. We stayed in the Alleghany room, which was large, well appointed, the bed very comfortable, and truly charming. In the evenings ,coming... More

We had a perfect stay at the Hummingbird Inn. The Franklin Suite was beautiful and so comfortable. We had a great time exploring the area, and the breakfast was delicious. We left so much more relaxed than we were when we arrived.
