Stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed the place and area. We stayed in the 3 bedroom cabin and the 2 bedroom yurt. We thought they were both good and enjoyed the yurt the most. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely return again when it is warmer.

My husband and I went for a weekend to get away from the grind of the city. We stayed in a 2 bedroom YURT, cause as owners we have to take what is left. The Yurt was magnificent, very clean, rustic, and almost seemed when we went to the back deck, that we were in a tree house. We had... More

We stayed in a yurt for 4 nights. We absolutely loved the feeling of "luxury camping!" We spent a lot if time using the hot tubs and the fitness center. Neither was perfect but perfectly fine for us. We would never hesitate to go back. We ate at a couple local restaurants. All very good!

We had a 3 Bedroom 2 bathroom cabin with full kitchen, laundry and fireplace. Very nice, clean accommodations that would easily fit 6 people. Attentive staff. The resort has pools, gift shop, horseback riding and carriage rides, putt-putt golf, restaurant and marina on site. We rented a golf cart along with the couple we brought with us and had a... More

We stayed here for 2 nights only but it was really nice. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the activities available. We got to go horseback riding with my kids and they loved it! The staff was very friendly....but the equestrian staff was a little weird....most of them did not smile and didn't like to interact... More

This is a great place for a relaxing quiet vacation. We love the peace and quiet. The lake is great for fishing and beautiful to look at. There are a lot of activities for children and adults. The cabins are roomy with lots of extras. Would highly recommend this for a family getaway from the hustle and bustle of the... More

We selected this location because it was in the middle of the historical areas we wanted to visit (Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Appomattox, Wilderness, etc. The longest drive was about 1.5 hours. We did not spend much time here but the facilities appeared to cater to varied interests; marina (closed during our stay), pool, horses, basketball, miniature golf, trails, tennis, etc.... More

Stayed in a 3 BR cabin for 5 nights the last week of October. The trees were past prime, but still beautiful. We visited Richmond one day and Charlottesville another. So a cabin is 400 a night. As a wedding gift I was given a weekend package by my brother. Now this a blue green vacation Club resort. The evening we arrived., we were asked for a credit card to be kept on file for gratuities. Nothing wrong with that. Then we were asked what we wanted to do. ...... More

Were there the last week of October 2014. Had some beautiful weather and some wind. The yurt was cozy with great small log type furniture. Hearing the leaves and nuts hit the roof was very relaxing. Cooked out on the grill a few nights. Enjoyed a Historical Presentation and Guided Hike with author Rick Britton, also took a jewelry making... More
