We are not pleased. I cannot understand how they intend to sell this resort as a time-share (unless they brag on the other resorts). Our 2 bedroom cabin was out-dated - time for a remode!!! Do not advertise cable TV unless you can provide non-snowy service. We were supposed to have a king bedroom and 2 twin beds bedroom. Nope... More

My husband and I traveled here for a weekend in July. We stayed in a beautiful recently renovated 3 bed-room cabin. We arrived at around 5:30 pm with TONS of other guests, the check -in staff seemed overwhelmed but it was fine. We checked out the pool which was not busy at the time, probably because it was dinner time,... More

We found, from checking-in and on through the week, the staff does not appear to be happy. We were there from Sunday to Friday in June 2014. The rental of fishing equipment or boats are only available from 8am to 6pm, which was a disappointment to us. We fish, so not being able to get a boat or equipment early... More

My husband and I visited here for Fourth of July weekend with my in- laws. When my mother in law made the reservation they assured us we would have a pull through spot (my in laws aren't as experienced with pulling a trailer..this was our 2nd venture out) and even a week before our stay, they confirmed we would have... We have stayed here 4 times now and love the 3br cabins. So spacious and warm. Nice gas grill on our back deck makes dinner options easy. We love all of the history in the area and the day trips to D.C. Girls always love riding the horses and playing putt-putt on site. Can't wait to see the rebuilt lodge... More

My family and I stayed @ Shennandah Crossing for 4 days and 3 nights, not long enough. I'm a Bluegreen owner and I approve this resort... Lol. There are so many things to do. Bill in the General Store went over and beyond to help out as Robert the security guard did as well! Great vacation had by all members... More

First of all, the property is wonderful. The photos on their bluegreen website really don't do it justice. It was much more wooded than we anticipated and the attention to detail in the whole "rustic" feel was fantastic. The staff could not have been friendlier. From the gals at the front desk to the guys watering the landscape, everyone was... More

Stayed one night in a cabin and that was terrific. Nicely decorated, fully furnished (perfect because I take organic food with me) and comfy. Enough room for myself & my lady and nicely setup inside. Then spent 2 nights in a yurt which was what I've been wanting to build. Decorated better than I expected. Kitchen was great, bathroom great,... More

We just got back from Shenandoah Crossing Resort. This was our first stay and our first visit to Virginia for myself, my husband and my grandson. We generally associate vacations with the beach but this year there was not enough time for that, so we chose a vacation closer to our home state of Indiana. We were also interested in... More

I enjoy places like Tradewinds at St. Pete Beach or the Fountains in Orlando. A rustic cabin in the woods is not my idea of a vacation. Flooring was sagging in many places (my husband and I joked about going into the valley and up the hill when we walked down the hall), appliances were old and dirty. Very beautiful... More
