We were in town for my mothe'rs funeral,we drove 15 hours to get there for the family viewing . We arrived about 11:30am and asked if we could check in a little early, we were told no. There is no other place to stay in the Gloucester/Mathews area and thank goodness it is a Comfort Inn. Clean, comfortable, convenient. The folks at the main desk are very accommodating and friendly. Make sure you book ahead if you are coming for the Daffodil Festival! more
