Tanglewood is a elegant family home located on a hillside overlooking the town of Front Royal. The historic main street of Front Royal is only a 5 minute drive away by car but the huge old trees on and around the property and its elevated location make you feel like you are in the country. Although we did not do so, one could easily walk into town.

First, it is important to understand that this is a traditional B&B where the owners graciously share their home with you. And what a home it is! The owners are art collectors with electic taste so you can wander from room to room admiring their collection much as if you were in an art gallery. Their home is filled with antiques, custom pieces and other treasure collected over a lifetime. But the home is very comfortable and lived in and you definitely do not feel like you are in a museum.
