OMG ! This place remind's me of the 60' S . We happened to be in Floyd During the Floyd Fest ! We still do not know what a Floyd Fest is or what you do. We just happened to be there while driving through to a wedding. We stayed in the Blue Ridge Parkway Room # 107. We thought... More

We apologize for the inconvenience with your stay at Hotel Floyd. The Blue Ridge Parkway Room is just a theme of a room as every room in the hotel is themed after something in our area. Being located centrally downtown it's difficult to get a view even though we're nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The Back Porch rooms... More

Made an over night visit up to the Floyd, Virginia area and surrounding wineries with a stay at this excellent hotel. Much of the hotel is quite new but all rooms appear very comfortable, Each room has its own theme and associated motif to match its name. Ours was the knit and needle with all in-room decorations associated with knitting.... More

My husband and I just returned from the Hotel Floyd. This was our first time in Floyd and the location of the hotel couldn't be better. Park your car when you check in and walk to most anything you want! We had a king room in the 4 story section. Very spacious, clean, and as all of the rooms there,... More

Driving the Blue Ridge for honeymoon, time to stop for the night. Concern for gouging, anything but! New place (June '14) friendly staff (Delia) awesome room decor (all rooms individually themed). B & B feel with commercial upgrades. Very much local flavor. Highly recommend!

It's doubled in size since our last visit 4 years ago, but Hotel Floyd is still the best place to stay in Virginia. Unlike an anonymous hotel chain room, each one is furnished by local craftspeople so can be unique and quirky, or cool and comfortable. The hotel staff are very friendly, and the breakfast is good. There are many... More

We stumbled onto the Hotel Floyd after a day of travel on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was a delightful place to stay for the night. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was more than friendly. The hotel is located within walking distance of several of the restaurants and shops that make Floyd an interesting place to... More

Stayed in Phoenix Hardwoods king room in the section just completed in June. Spacious clean, quiet, nicely decorated. My wife was ecstatic. But the best part was the LIVE MUSIC in the outdoor amphitheater behind the hotel! We then walked about one hundred yards for pizza and MORE LIVE MUSIC! Highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I stayed here in room 102 for three nights starting July 14. Room is very nice, and the hotel was perfect walking distance to all the shops and restaurants downtown. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our second visit to Hotel Floyd, in Floyd, Virginia. Since our first visit some years ago, the hotel has added a new building with more rooms, and it has a spacious lobby and a dining area where a continental breakfast is served. The staff were pleasant and helpful, happy to describe the craftspersons who contributed to the beautiful... More
