We have stayed at Ambrosia Farm several times now and each time was a pleasure! All of the rooms we have stayed in were unique and extremely comfortable. The main house is a beautiful, restored farm house that dates to the 1800's. I love hearing the creek across the way when the windows are open. Breakfast always wows me: delicious... More

Ambrosia Farm was a delightful country inn located a few miles near Floyd VA. Floyd is a happening spot with music, art, and wine. We arrived rather late but did enjoy a glass of vino on the porch as the sun settled over the mountain. A deer emerged from the forest and grazed along a country lane as we visited... More

Ambrosia Farm high points were minimal-Caroline, the owner, was cordial and helpful. The back covered porch set-up for breakfast was pleasant. However, the breakfasts were adequate but nothing special. The room was on the dark side without enough lighting, and the doors remained unlocked once you left the room for the day. However, they could be locked from the inside... More

We stayed two nights in the cabin outside the farmhouse, as we desired a bit of solitude. Beautiful views, excellent cooking and food, and totally enjoyed meeting a variety of people over the course of the three days and two nights. Caroline and Craig are very helpful with local information and directions, and Caroline is an excellent cook, preparing a... More

We stayed in the cabin, which is small and very rustic. Yet it was nicely furnished. Even had an old time mail carrier bugle. The breakfast was the best. You need to be up and ready at the time indicated as the wonderful food is coming straight from the stove to your plate. Caroline is great cook and a wonderful... More

We stayed just one night in the 200+ year-old log cabin. We had the Master Bedroom with King bed. The room was spacious and quaint and the bed was just a little on the soft side but comfortable. You step just outside the bedroom to the bathroom. There is a curtain to give you privacy from the dining area when... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Ambrosia Farm it is one of a kind !!! It was a good, fun, experience ! We sat on the front porch and just enjoyed the view. Took a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Went to the Friday night bluegrass jamboree at the Floyd Country Store. The owners Caroline & Craig were the... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Ambrosia Farm. We stayed in the log cabin and slept well -- Best sleep I had gotten in over a month. It is so peaceful and quiet. There is no light pollution and we could see the Milky Way at night. The flowers growing there are gorgeous... huge echinacea and black-eyed susans, and there... More

What a great place. The owners were great, warm people... We arrived and were offered a glass of wine from the winery down the road. We sat on the front porch and talked for a while. For dinner the owners recommended a great restaurant in town, which turned out to be some of the best Italian I've ever had. We... More

I wanted a romantic B&B near the Blue Ridge Parkway so we could enjoy wine tasting and scenic views. I was not disappointed! Ambrosia Farm is on a quiet road just 15 minutes from Chateau Morrisette and Villa Appalaccia Winery. The B&B is an old farmhouse, with a porch used for meals, wood paneling and antiques throughout, and plenty of... More
