I decided to surprise my significant other with a romantic weekend getaway. It was a cold weekend. We arrived and checked in around 4pm, and spent the rest of the afternoon hiking and relaxing. We were the only customers that were staying at the hotel that night- there are only 4 rooms- so it was very quiet and private. The... More

We stayed here for a birthday weekend but we had dinner reservations at the Inn at Little Washington (only a ten minute drive) so we did not try the restaurant. Our suite was very clean and we loved the contemporary decor. The entire staff was friendly and made us feel comfortable -- we had lunch at the bar and tried... More

We stayed at The Flint Hill Public House a night in January and again for Valentines Day, both times in the Washington Suite. We had a lovely stay both times. John was very accommodating when arranging for our stay and Marvin fixed us a delicious breakfast! We couldn't have asked for anything better. Anyone looking to get away whether it... More

We booked a night to celebrate a quiet Valentine's/Presidents' Day weekend and had a fabulous time! This Inn is a gem! The grounds are beautiful, the location convenient and very easy to get to. There's so many wineries and restaurants to visit nearby, antique shopping, hiking, etc. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was amazing! We are still... More

I chose to stay in this lovely teeny tiny town to celebrate my Mom's birthday with my sister. We had the Wakefield Suite, one of four rooms/suites that this apparently well-known restaurant has on their upstairs floor. The suite was large and comfortable (with a bit of a problem - see later) and clean. There is a lovely little public... More

My husband and I are from Potomac, MD and wanted to get away for a couple of nights. We had been to the restaurant before and remembered that they had rooms too. The rooms are modern and VERY clean. We stayed in the Sperryville suite and loved our room. Nice size shower too. The staff at the Inn are wonderful... More

We booked a night at the Inn as a halfway point to visit friends in Roanoke. What a great find! A nice room and a delicious meal without getting in the car again. The Inn and restaurant are very attractive. Arty, eclectic and modern. Staff was friendly. There is a lovely deck out back but it was raining and we... More

This is a lovely hotel. It has relatively small number of rooms, but the room I had was amazing. Large and spacious - well appointed and maintained. The bed itself was perfect and I had no trouble sleeping - which isn't something I can usually say when I'm travelling. The staff were warm and friendly and the service was faultless.... More

Our apologies for inadequate WiFi during your visit. We have two routers in the building (one for upstairs and one for downstairs), so it may be that one needed to be reset during your visit. Please always let someone know that you are having trouble. Each suite is also hardwired with an Ethernet connection (cables are in the desk drawers).... More

I can't believe we waited so long (you really don't need a special occasion to make this visit)! A simply perfect overnight stay, beginning with a warm welcome by Chef Marvin himself, and followed by a peaceful evening and AMAZING dinner. Take whatever they recommend, and prepare yourself for a meal that to be honest, I would have paid twice... More
