The facilities were better than average for this price range. Quite a pleasant swimming pool. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was motel breakfast. Housekeeping was a bit odd. The room was well done when I arrived, but it was skipped the next day, as was another one occupied by other members of the party. We were more... More

A bit worn but clean 50's era style. Everything in my room worked well. I often travel with a pile of gear and it's nice to be able to park in front of your door. Very friendly, helpful staff. Easy access and convenient to DC and the Beltway.

This property is really tough to review, as it entirely depends upon your frame of reference. If you are accustomed to midmarket chain hotels like Hampton, Holiday Inn Express, Fairfield, etc., or certainly anything nicer than that, this motel will probably be disappointing at best. On the other hand, if you are on a tight budget and just need somewhere... More

You simply cannot beat the price for this quality. Yes, the motel was probably built in the 1950s and has seen grander days, but the interiors are updated and very, very clean and comfortable and spacious. We went to breakfast one day but it was crowded with a tour bus whose occupants had eaten almost every crumb! Found a good... More

I was on a 4 night solo business trip to DC. This motel was near the metro, offered shuttle service and free hot breakfast at a reasonable price. The motel is clearly vintage, and the door open directly into the parking lot. The room was clean, the staff was amazingly attentive and helpful, the shuttle was convenient and regular. The... More

With the family flying into Arlington for a funeral, we didn't spend a great deal of time trying to master the economics of this trip. We just wanted to all be in the same hotel. We really lucked out. The hotel was so easy to get to from Reagan Intl. Everything went surprisingly smoothly. When we got to the hotel,... More

We booked this hotel for 2 nights for June 2015. We got in the room and the a/c was hardly blowing any cold air. We moved to a different room and the a/c was not much better. By morning the temp. was 81 degrees. Unacceptable. We paid cash for 2 nights at this hotel. We decided after the a/c experience... More

For a hotel from the 1950's it is not in bad shape, there is an outdoor pool, they do serve a hot breakfast, which is located on the otherside of the property, There is restuarnts close by within walking distance. a CVS across the street. Easy in and out. There is bus parking or trailers. The hotel staff is very... More

Pro's: Close to metro station Inexpensive Continental breakfast ( there was NONE to be had, there were several a tour groups of children visiting) Close to restaurants, pharmacy's & other stores. Cons: Rooms had 1 plug in for phones, all the others were for lamps or didn't work. Toilet clogged, asked front desk to have maintenance look at it, came... More
