I picked this place for location to DC and ability to get to it from the interstate. I wanted to avoid what I could of big city traffic. I still had to face my share, but this proved doable. From the outside this place doesn't look like much. The parking area is in the back. Now the reception area seemed... More

I just returned from DC from a trip with my mom where we stayed in the Inns of VA. Great location--easy to find!! Near metro, buses, good eating places, safe neighborhood. and the hotel was a real find! Great towels, good continental breakfast, free parking, SUPER HELPFUL staff with directions, maps, travel tips, smiles--we couldn't have been happier with our... More

I'm an independent consultant in town for a conference, and all costs are ultimately out of my pocket, so cost is a paramount concern. I found this hotel on TripAdvisor and gave it a shot based on prior reviews, cost, and proximity to the DC Metro (subway/bus) lines. The cab driver from Dulles said he'd never taken anyone to this... When making arrangements to attend Obama's inauguration, I was shocked at the price-gouging going on all around town. This was the only hotel I could find within a 25-mile radius that wasn't charging outrageous rates and demanding minimum stays (during inauguration wk.) But it gets better: the hotel is an easy 30 min away from Dulles Airport with the Washington... More

Very good location for accessing public transportation--bus stop to Metro (subway) across the street. Easy to reach Washington, DC. All the people who work there are very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable and economical.

Where do I start...the good feelings I had from this place just come flowing out faster than I can type! The room was very quaint, beautiful, clean and quiet and the bed so comfy I don't even remember closing my eyes before falling asleep. But those are things people pay for and basically expect when going to any hotel. What... More

Parking is great, some spaces are available around the back of reception. The staff are personable, friendly and efficient. The rooms are not too shabby for the price, comfortable even. We got a huge bed that aircraft could have landed on. We even tried to touch the sides... shows how easily pleased we are. Americans - double check what "continental... More

I have stayed here 4 times and each time I think the place is improving. It is cheap but comfortable. It is in an area close to a grocery store and the bus stop is almost at the door. The motel itself has been remodeled and the staff is friendly. The continental breakfast is juice and a danish but there... More

I stayed here the first night because I couldn't find a place closer to my conference downtown for less than $400. I stayed the other nights because the staff was helpful and friendly, the room was quiet and clean, and the internet connection was a solid 11MB/s and free. It had everything I needed and was a bargain at less... More

Although I have listed my last stay was in October 2007, my first encounter with this hidden gem was in May of 2007. I have stayed here at least 7 times since then including the day I wrote this review. Michael (sorry I cannot find the business card to spell his last name correctly) is the manager and personal greeter... More
