This is a clean renovated hotel that is in a good location for business travellers in the Fairfax/George Mason University area. The room was clean and well kept, the service was good, and the location proved to be a timesaver in an area where there is almost round-the-clock traffic congestion. The TV channel selection seemed a little bit limited for... More

This hotel is very expensive... You get a motel experience for a hotel price. Sadly when the hotel was built they chose not to invest into any sound proofing... you can hear everything for every room. The service sucked. We couldn't make a phone call because it took over 45 mins to have the front desk 'set-up' the phone just... More

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and was pleasantly surprised how nice the room and my stay was. The room was well appointed and looked very upscale...especially at the $79 rate I paid for it. The room had nice features, including a flat screen TV and refrigerator. The staff was courteous and efficient. And the Otis Spunkmeyer cookies at... More

After reading the reviews here and seeing the prices of the local Marriott owned hotels, I decided to give this Holiday Inn Express a try. I'm happy I did. The staff was very friendly. They were a little louder than I would have cared for since my room was on the first floor and I often heard them from the... More

We stayed at this motel at both the beginnig and end of a two week trip to the area. It was typical of Holiday Inn Express, something I like. The rooms were clean and fresh. The staff very pleasant and helpful, and even baked cookies on numerous occaisions for the guests walking through the lobby. The free continental buffet breakfast... More

Had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everyone here seemed very concerned that everything be done just right. The room was very clean. There was also lots of room. The sink was not in the bathroom which was very convenient. The hotel had the standard breakfast except they added eggs and sausage (bacon one day). They also have a manager's... More

Booked the hotel last about a week before staying there using AAA thru the hotel website. Got a rate of $101 a night. Booked the 2 queen bed room with plasma cable tv. We just needed a place to stay before transfering over to the marriott for a friend's wedding. Great stay for the price given. Bed was comfortable, room... More

We stayed here for several days for our D.C. trip. It is an excellent value and the place was letter perfect for us. Everything was fairly new and clean. The free breakfast had many selections including cereal, fruit, mini-yogurts, danish, eggs and sausage. Great assortment. The wireless worked perfectly and they had plug in so my daughter could use her... More

Stayed in this hotel for one night on a business trip. The welcome gift of a free bottle of water for Proirity Club members was a nice touch. The fitness room is located up on the fourth floor, and has a big HDTV in it, along with a treadmill, stationary bike, and stairmaster. It all seemed new and operative. The... More

My Husband and I were visiting some of our family and stayed at the hotel. At first I was really scared when I read all the reviews. So I called the hotel and talked to the front desk clerk who said that the renovations were done and not to worry and come in and see how nice it looks. So... More
