This truly was one of the nicest Hampton Inns I've seen! It has a wonderful 2 queen bed suite (separate bedroom) that is larger than at the Embassy/Homewood Suites we often stay. The room was immaculate and the beds were very comfy. It has a little eating area and a sink/frig/microwave as well. Indoor pool was great for the kids... more

Immaculate, caring, polite and very friendly. Can you believe.....an entire floor is reserved for pets and their owners. These are not your "pet/smoking/other" rooms. These are truly guest rooms with clean carpets and white, yes white, linens. The breakfast buffet is great, too. more

We have stayed at this Hampton Inn numerous times in the past. The reason we continue to stay is because it breaks our driving trip exactly in half. It is conveniently located off I-95 in Virginia. It has an indoor pool so when we have been driving with kids for hours, they love to check-in and swim before it's bath... more

This is a wonderful hotel in the middle of nowhere! It's main attraction is its convenience to I-95 and I suspect most stays are one night only. Too bad because it is a beautiful hotel. We were fortunate to have one of their few suites. It was huge, well-furnished and very comfortable. And the warm indoor pool with thick towels... more

I was amazed by the quality of the facilities and kindness of the staff. My room was big and the bed really comfortable. The bathroom was large too. The cleanliness was perfect, nothing out of place. The staff was really friendly, Southern Hospitality I guess. Soda machines on every floor, great for a midnight cola at a reasonable price. The... more

This Hampton Inn is a gem! We selected it because it was dog-friendly and a great stopping place between NH and SC. Well, they sure are people-friendly too. The place is very clean and rooms are spacious. There was a refrigerator in our room so we could "re-chill" our road food/bevs for the next day's trip. There are restaurants close... more

For the past three years we have stayed at this Hampton Inn on our drive south to Florida. We also travel with our dog and unfortunately there are not many hotels with the excellent standard of this one that pets and owners can stay at. Being this would be our third year I expected that we would surely see some... more

We've stayed in this hotel several times and each has been a great experience. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. We also stayed in a couple of other hotels along I-95 at twice the price and they did not compare to this hotel. Even the continental breakfast was very good. Highly recommended!! more

Traveling down Interstate 95 yet again, we were in need of a hotel that would accept our dog as well as us, and the Hampton Inn in Emporia proved to be an excellent choice. I checked in at midnight but the staffer on duty was alert, swift and efficient. The only problem of the whole stay was attempting to park,... more

We stayed just one night in a fairly large room, nicely furnished, with minifridge/microwave. The bed, couch, and chair were all very comfortable. The showerhead was good. We appreciated having computer access and being able to print. There are several restaurants nearby. The breakfast was pretty good but not great: sausage, French toast sticks, etc., but no eggs. more
