My stay was enjoyable and Sandra the front desk clerk was wonderful. She took care of the guest, breakfast and the busy phones. What a gret multitasker....My room was excellent very clean and smelled fresh. The spa was also a great asset. Just need more resteraunts in the area. more

The good- The room was very clean and I loved the large granite top vanity in the bathroom, it is perfect for all the stuff you have like makeup hair stuff etc. Standard room has hairdryer, iron and iron board, fridge and microwave. Our room was a non smoking king and the king sized bed was a nice size. Hotel... more

Clean, comfy and convenient to the Kings Dominion theme park. Nice to stay in a new hotel. Opened in spring of 2009, I believe. Free shuttle service was a plus. Save yourself the $10 per car parking fee to park your vehicle in the park and use the hotel's shuttle. Nice decor- we enjoyed the mountain wood theme. Free internet... more

The hotel itself was nice. The rooms were roomy and clean. One occupant of the room was woken three times in the night by the train that passed directly underneath the window (she insists that I add this, though my brother and I heard nothing). Other than that, there was nothing to complain about. The staff was friendly and helpful.... more

My fiancé and I went for a overnight "romantic" trip to Kings Dominion. I booked the KD package which included a one night stay, two day park tickets and a pizza. Check in was fine until I asked for our KD tickets and pizza. The desk agent looked at me like I was crazy and like she didn't want to... more

I stayed there to visit Kings Dominion but it turned out to be more than just a hotel stay. I arrived there early but they were booked so I could not get a room but Ashley told me to park and use the shuttle to the park and check back with her around 3 PM. I came back around 2... more

My family & I just recently stayed here for a 2 day visit to King's Dominion. It is a newer hotel (opened Spring 2009) and is in very nice condition. We had 2 rooms. One with a king bed and the other 2 queens. The rooms are very nice, clean and well kept. Air conditioning worked great! Check in was... more

Train tracks right next to hotel and came through every night @ 1am. Missing fixtures for bathroom, especially bath tub. Shower curtains, carpet, walls stain really bad. Complimentary breakfast did not feel so complimentary. Would not stay there again. Fitness center was a joke. more

We stayed three nights at the Country Inn with our two children (ages 6 & 4) for a two day trip to Kings Dominion. We had a King Studio Suite with the fold-out sofa in the back of the hotel. It was also a handicapped room which was nice with the two children ... the room was huge. It is... more

There was nothing especially spectacular about our stay, but because it was a brand new hotel, it was fine for our purposes. We were only staying a couple of nights to enjoy the Kings Dominion park just across the street. I did like that there was a shuttle every half hour. I am assuming since that it was a new... more
