1.. The hotel has people that live there on a permanent basis. One of the residents had his recliner outside. When I asked the front desk clerk about it he said that where the people lived were apartments. . The building was connected to the hotel.. but ok. 2. When we arrived there was a sign on the door that... More

I stayed at this hotel for two nights, on the first night the pub music was extremely loud! My family members and I could get any sleep! The blinds were broken when first got there and no one was there to did them. There is no room service to dump the trash or give fresh towels unless you ask for... More

I stopped in to eat on July 15, 2014. Swung off the highway onto Riverside Drive knowing there would be plenty of places to eat. Highlander looked nice, had several cars in the lot. After a short wait, Tia seated me and got my drink order. She was very busy waiting on tables scattered all about the dining room, so... More

The first time I came here was in Feb.2013 and was very impressed. Dameon was the manager and he was awesome. I brought my son and his wife today, still here because it's to late to travel anymore tonight. After making this place sound so great, boy was I embarrassed. I had walked to the office to asked for towels... More

Not going to waste your time telling you everything that is wrong, but stick your nose in your septic tank and it would smell better than the rooms at the highlander. Also if you want the worst service and the nastiest tasting food on earth try their Pub. I believe they get their food from the local prison camp. I... More

First off, if you see a good review of this place, the hotel staff wrote the review. The court yard looks great but it stops there. The rooms smell incredibly bad. The cleaning crew does little beyond making the beds. Garbage and cigarette ash on the floors. Not all the lights work. Old tube tv's and no devices for netflix.... More

First of all the manager working the front desk was most welcoming. He walked us to our room and made sure my family was happy with the room. Very nice touch. The room was nice and we loved the free netflix. We ate at the restaurant and the food was great. The prices for the room and dinner were unbeatable.... More

My husband and I stayed at the Highlander and loved it. The room was very clean and very comfortable. We liked having Netflex in the room. The lodge manager was awesome. He made you feel like you are a "special guest", and we were impressed that he remembered our name if we ran into him. That's great customer service. We... More
