We just got back from two nights at Augusta's, and I cannot say enough good things about it. It is even better than the reviews, and it meets or exceeds everything presented on the website. We went to Damascus to ride the Virginia Creeper Trail and relax for a couple of days. However, we found that Damascus was a wonderful... more

The Augusta Appalachian Inn was a gem of a place to stay. The owners, Sissy and Terry Kammer, were absolutely wonderful hosts and made us feel that their home was our home away from home. The inn, guest rooms, and yard were immaculate and well maintained. Sissy had a different breakfast menu each day, which was both delicious and filling,... more

Based on the reviews we had high expectations. Those were more than met by Sissy & Terry. Our room was spotless, the breakfast was even better than the reviews indicated. The information on local activities and restaurants was extremely helpful. We hope to return soon and will certainly recommend this B&B to our friends. more

We spent 2 nights here and can't say enough good things. Sissy and Terri were warm and accommodating, the Inn itself has been beautifully restored. The breakfast offered more than enough yummy choices. It's located right in the center of town within short walking distance of most bike shops, and only a few steps from the restaurants as well. Perfectly... more

This is what a B&B should be! The property is ideally located for trail riders and hikers, the Inn is immaculate, the hosts, Terry and Sissy are ideal. We stayed in Grace's room; comfortable, well appointed, and clean. There was wine and snacks at 4.30 PM, coffee and tea discreetly brought to our room an hour before a delicious breakfast... more

We stayed for 4 nights recently in the Virginia Suite, which had a very comfortable king-size bed, a private bathroom, and a sitting room with flat-screen TV with DVD. Sissy was away, but Terry took excellent care of us. He left a tray with a thermos of coffee, cups, and cream at our door (without disturbing us) each morning, cooked... more

This was our first visit to a B&B. They have certainly set a high standard! The rooms were bright and airy. We stayed in Grace's room with a queen size bed, private bath w/shower and LCD TV. Refreshments were set out at 4:30pm. We stayed three nights, breakfast was delicious each morning. The B&B is located on the main street... more
