This is an amazing property. They are very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. The location was just perfect. We are going to go kayaking the next time we stay. We will definitely be staying at this location. Just perfect.

The rooms were attractive and there was a big claw foot tub, plus a shower in the shared bathroom. Some rooms have their own bath, but I stayed in off season, so I only had to share with the friends who came with me. The inn is right on the river, so bring your kayak or tubes. It is a... More

My wife and I were running an ultramarathon in the Blue Ridge Mountains and stayed in Damascus the night before the run began. The house was very quaint and cozy. Its location along a gentle creek/river was beautiful. The owners were kind and cooked a wonderful breakfast for us. Although most of us didn't touch the meats, there was plenty... More

We stayed in the lower level bedroom (with the private bathroom). Really nice appointments, well kept . . . it was apparent they had tried to think of everything to make a guest comfortable (even bathrobes in the bedroom for guest use). We did have difficulty finding the B&B (don't use a GPS or ask the local bike shop--neither were... More

Ms. Ginny has created a warm cradle of hospitality in the heart of the small town of Damascus that will make you feel like you've arrived at grandma's house. Her historical Victorian home, built in 1904, is large, spacious, and authentic as she has been in this house for many years and the rooms are perfectly appointed for a weekend... More

I can't say enough good about this place. Just like Grandma's house of yesteryear with Grandma there to take care of you. I will start with the best first: the breakfast, it was like the Thanksgiving feast of breakfasts. We had rode the VA Creeper that morning and told the shuttle driver where we were staying and he told us... More

We stayed here on our second night of our journey from Texas to Maryland.. We knew we were going to be late so we called Ms Ginny to make sure that was okay, she said "honey that is fine, just Please be careful driving in the dark!" (so sweet, worried for us!) We arrived around 9:45pm and she promptly answered... More

This beautiful old Victorian home is set in Damascus—no, make that Mayberry—Virginia. The tiny town is itself a trip back into the early 1900s, where there is only one drug store, one major grocery store, and no Walmart, as far as I could tell. The houses and gardens are all beautifully tended. The Appalachian Trail (AT) goes right through town... More

This was our first stay with Miss Ginny and I have to say it was personable, caring and just a beautiful environment. Her breakfast was legendary. It is conveniently located to several restaurants and "downtown Damascus". You can walk to every area in town and access to the Virginia Creeper is close by. We are definitely going to come back.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights with Miss Ginny at the Lazy Fox last week and what a gem! We felt like we had left our grandmother's house the morning we left to come home. The breakfast each morning was wonderful! As the review on her website states, "we had breakfast everywhere!" We had time to relax in the... More
