Stayed one night a while back and had a great experience - Stayed in the King Bed Room and had the whole floor to myself (mid-week). The hosts Paul and Lee are simply the best! - Recommend to anyone seeking a unique and quiet and clean experience. Hosts are also an interesting pair and full of local knowledge of the... More

If you drop by Damascus this is a place i recommend. Great people, super cosy. Owner into MTB. I was there for the weekend, ridden there qith my bicycle from NC, back the day after. They do not have breakfast...but ended up offering me a great homemade corn bread and excellent coffee.

Lovely little spot with the hostel in the back. We rented the entire hostel including the room with the bed in the back and a room in the house. We loved it so much we adjusted our return trip so we could visit Paul and Lee again.

This is an Inn that has rooms inside the main house & a hiker hostel in the back yard. I stayed in the hiker hostel. It was absolutely the cleanest & nicest hostel I have ever stayed in on either sides of the Atlantic! There are 4 bunks in the main room, a bathroom with shower, a kitchenette with microwave... More

I stayed in the bunkhouse on my thur-hike of the at. Lee and Paul run a very clean B&B and hostle. A nice relaxing place with good owners and great value for all the extra amenities not expected in the hostle section.

This was very comfortable and much more pleasant than past hostel experiences (In fact I didn't realize it was a hostel until after we left). We arrived sort of late in the evening and were greeted and accommodated by Lee. I had driven eight or nine hours that day and the bed felt great. There is a pub / cafe... More

This was my first experience at a hostel and I didn't know what to expect. What I got was a clean and comfortable bed (queen bed room) and courteous and hospitable service. Paul was always on hand to provide service, supplies, and useful information about the town and nearby trails. Between the queen bed room and the bunk bed room... More

No Tajmahal but perfect for hikers and bicyclists. Located right on the Appalachian Trail and walking distance to the Virginia Creeper Trail you can't ask for a better location. We stayed in the bunkroom and bedroom in the separate building out back. Only one bath room, but for friends and family it's fine. Very clean and the proprietors Paul and... More

A two night trip to bike the popular portion of the Virginia Creeper Trail, this was the perfect spot for my husband, daughter and me. Lee, the proprietor, was able to accommodate us and our little 12 pound dog. We stayed in the king bedroom in the main house and our daughter and the dog stayed in the hostel. Lee... More

This inn is run by a lovely couple. True to the trail town, the place is down to earth, welcoming, and friendly. I stayed at the hostel and it's clean and cozy. Walking distance to Creeper trails, AT, and Iron Mountain trails.
