The Maple Tree is the additional room available in a neighboring home a few doors up the street. The owner Gary was very accommodating and gracious. We were traveling on early Friday afternoon heading south from D.C. not knowing where we would stop for the evening nor where we would stay. After looking on TA, we decided to give Gary... More

This was an absolute treat . Wonderfull Colonial House . Beautiful room with veranda and garden views . Everything you could possibly need with lots of local information available . Our charming and friendly host provided us with a traditional buffet breakfast in a lovely dining kitchen with garden views . We wish we could have had a longer stay... More

We visited Culpeper on a weekend getaway. We enjoyed visiting this quaint little town and had so much fun checking out the local hot spots. The highlight of the trip was our stay at the Fountain Hall B&B. We stayed in the Lightfoot and Hill room on the second floor. We met the owner and learned about the history of... More

My wife and I stayed at this location on a trip through the area. The Inn and grounds were very beautiful and all of the interior rooms were great and tastefully decorated . We were greeted by the innkeepers who were very nice and extremely knowledgeable of Culpeper and its history. We stayed in Pulliams retreat which is a wonderful... More

My husband and I stayed at Fountain Hall for a long weekend. I made the reservation very easily on line. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the innkeeper, Kathi, who showed us to our room (the Butler's Suite), and gave us a tour of the house common areas (as well as a peek into the unoccupied rooms!). The house offers... More

I spent a long weekend at the Fountain Hall B&B. The house and grounds are gorgeous with every room beautifully decorated. The owners create a lot of comfort for their guests in every way, from breakfast to wifi to board games to 24-7 coffee and tea availability. The B&B is very well located for walking to downtown Culpeper. It was... More

Spent one night at the lovely B&B with my wife and teenage son, as we recently made our way from Manassas to Montpelier and on to Harrisonburg. The inn is walking distance to the well-preserved downtown area of Culpeper with numerous fine restaurants. We stayed in the Lightfoot and Hill room. I think it's the only room with 2 beds.... More

We rented all 6 rooms and had the entire house to ourselves for a recent wedding/family reunion in Culpeper, and were delighted with the accommodations. This is an 1859 property that has been upgraded and well maintained. Since we were 12, plus a baby, we were able to comfortably spread out through the 2 sitting rooms, the dining room, and... More

The band I play with was performing near Culpeper this past weekend, so we decided to stay in Culpeper for the night, and make a holiday of it. Fountain Hall came through in this regard in spades. The owners have been very good caretakers of this house, and have made it into a wonderful inn. Common/public rooms are spacious, and... More

Great place to stay. Owner/host has listened to his guests throughout the years and has made this B&B a well appointed, comfortable, and attractive place to stay. It doesn't lack anything. The homemade croissants for breakfast are yummy. One of the best B&Bs at which we have stayed. Culpeper is a nice little town with much to offer from shopping,... More
