This B&B was totally unexpected. We arrived in the dark, so we couldn't really appreciate it. The house is approximately 15,000 (no mistake) square feet and is captivating. Everything was built of wood and is extremely well kept up. When we woke the next morning, we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the the house and the surrounding mountain range.... More

We have stayed at Bent Mountain Lodge Bed and Breakfast several times. The views are breath taking. It is a beautful place to stay, the grounds are lovely and the rooms are large and clean. The husband and wife that own this are very frienly we enjoy having coffee and conversation with them when we stay there. They are also... More

I have read with interest the review below, whereby the lady states she almost went over the edge of the mountain. Losing the cars engine, power steering and brakes is scary, but please don't make it more than it is. This is a total fabrication. The road up to the lodge is approximately 1/2 mile long on gravel, from the... More

We were visiting friends in Raleigh and decided to take advantage of a Bed and Breakfast.com gift card our children gave us. I gave Bonnie my credit card number for the deposit money, then found that they didn't accept the B&B gift card. Jesse offered to cancel our reservation, but we decided to keep it anyway. We arrived late, about... More

We were rescued by the nicest person. We had bad weather -- rain and fog and were trying to get up to the lodge on the gravel road. Lost traction -- and my computer in my new car evidently thought "wreck" and shut the car down. Lost engine, brakes and steering. Slid down the mountain and almost over the side.... More

Bent Mountain Lodge is one of the most remote B&B's we have visited. It offers an abundance of quiet, wildlife, wild flowers, and beautiful vistas. We loved watching the 3 pet horses chase apples that were falling from the trees. Our cabin room was a bit musty when we arrived, but the weather was nice enough to open windows. With... More

Being from Florida, I thought I died and went to heaven with the view from this property! Mountains, mountains, and more mountains. The owners are lovely people and make you feel like family, even with their loving pets, including their horses on the property. A great get-away for both lovers and families! Great touches at this remarkable lodge!

This B&B is on a beautiful piece of property. The view was breathtaking. It was very quiet and by the time we arrived here we were very tired. One of the best night sleeps I've had in a place other than home. Jesse was friendly and gave us a tour of this beautiful house. Breakfast was continental style, but it... More

We regret your dissatisfaction. I think we had a terrible misunderstanding. First the lodge is never locked any place 24 hours a day. Breakfast was available self service 7-10 AM and all other guests had no problem. I do apologize for waking you. We did have an unexpected doctor appointment as I have had some recent beathing problems. Our beds... More
