This is the only B&B that my wife and I have ever wanted to stay at again and we have been to several in the North Eastern United States. Nichol, Les, and the entire staff are wonderful at pampering you! We have stayed with them three times and each has been a relaxing, fun filled time. The breakfast are excellent... More

We spent a wonderful night at Coopers Landing. The room was great and breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. We enjoyed lounging by the pool. We also had a wonderful dinner in the beautiful outdoor dining area & they even had live music that night! It was delightful!

We just spent a wonderful Memorial day weekend at Coopers. Les, Nicole, Sarah and the entire staff are just super friendly and everyone treats you like family. Great food, great people and a great time. It was our first visit there but it won't be our last!

My family and I went to celebrate a birthday dinner. The patio and live music was nice but the food was way over priced. The New York strip had no flavor at all and not sure it was even a strip. The lamb was the same. I think maybe its a home cook who fancies themself a chef. At $30... More

Laurie, Thank you for your comments. We value all of our patrons opinions. I am sorry that you found the New York Strip and Lamb to be lacking in flavor. Our New York Strips are Black Angus and hand-cut. They are rubbed with our signature steak seasoning that contains 15 spices, grilled, and topped with a Homemade Boursin Compound Butter... More

What an unbelievable place, time and time again. This review is long over due as we have been to Coopers Landing Inn many times and will continue to treasure this precious gem. My wife and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary with a wonderful two night stay in our favorite room, the rustic Vineyard Suite. When we arrived, we were... More

My husband and I were married at coopers in 2009, and it was amazing! The service is awesome, and the food is absolutely delicious. All of my guests lovedd everything about the wedding. My husband and I return to coopers a couple times per year, and to celebrate our anniversary. Les and Nichol make us feel so welcome and special.... More

I just attended a wedding at Cooper's Landing Inn. The wedding started at 3pm. Some friends and I got to the venue around 12pm to assist the bride with getting ready because she didn't have a bridal party. Everything about this location was great...the food (BBQ, green beans with ham, mac & cheese, chicken tenders), the hospitality, the quaintness of... More

I'd like to preface by saying the owners, Nichol & Les are very generous & accommodating souls!!! Nichol especially always went out of her way to make me as the bride feel like my needs & wants were important!!! Having said that I was a disappointed with the way my wedding package went when Nichol could not be around (due... More

My favorite room is the Sage Guest Room; I love waking up feeling like I am in a nest in the trees! The room is spacious and lovely! The service is the BEST! Whether sitting by the pool or under the lush arbor - you feel like you are in a special hide-away from the world. Do eat at the... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Cooper's Landing Inn & Traveler's Tavern is a part of Virginia's only lakeside town. Originally built in 1830, the home is surrounded by beautiful grounds and original outbuildings, including a working smokehouse which houses a hot tub for Bed & Breakfast guests. Boasting the recent addition of a 20' by 40' inground pool, Cooper's Landing Inn provides guests with a cool retreat during summer months. Surrounded by a brick patio, the pool area is complete with bistro tables and loungers where guests can savor a frozen cocktail or indulge with an item off our delicious pool menu. We also have a casual fine dining restaurant onsite where we offer farm to table gourmet cuisine and an outside patio where we serve dinner al fresco and have live music during the summer months. Because Cooper's Landing is truly a Romantic Getaway in Lake Country, many guests never leave the inn and enjoy a romantic small town escape and INNdulgences such as in-room massage, chocolate covered strawberries, and a glass of wine by the fire in winter or in the hammock during spring. Whatever your pleasure, Cooper's Landing Inn will make it memorable! ... more   less
