Who knew that there would be such a lovely bit of magic in Christiansburg, VA?!? I was heading South and decided well in advance to look for a B&B instead of a hotel along the Interstate. And no question, I was so happy with my decision! The Inn at Hans Meadow is a beautiful old home, lovingly cared for by... More

We stayed at the inn while visiting Blacksburg for a medical school interview and it was spectacular. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the hosts were unbelievably warm, attentive, and personable. Lisa is a truly gifted chef who provided luxurious breakfasts (delicious pumpkin moose french toast, eggs, and sausage!!) and tasty evening snacks/sweets. I STRONGLY encourage anyone who plans to... Great! Lisa and Dan are fabulous hosts! Great room. Comfy bed and pillows. They made a fabulous breakfast and surprise treat each night. Location was very convenient. They made wonderful suggestions for everything we wanted to do. Will definitely will come back again. Would love to rent the full property for a family event. Most Excellent and relaxing.

Welcoming and comfortable, elegant furnishings that are in rooms much larger than they appear on the website. The hosts were very attentive and charming. They provided us with feasts for breakfast and tasty afternoon snacks such as gingerbread cupcakes and tarts. Excellent value - why stay in a chain motel when you can be treated like royalty at a lower... More

We stayed at the Inn while visiting our daughter at VA Tech. We decided to stay here instead of a hotel room in Blacksburg or Christiansburg. It was a great decision to stay at this historic inn. Our room was lovely and I can't say enough about the property and the wonderful and friendly inn keepers. To wake up and... More

Our room in the carriage house was cute as a button and comfy. All the amenities of home. Cinnamon (a chicken) would escort us to our room when coming back from wandering the grounds. Nature lovers will love the plants, butterflies and birds. I imagine an artist would love to sketch the tall elm tree. Breakfast was delightful and yummy... More

Everything about this place is beautiful from the manicured lawns to the historical house. The house is beautifully decorated and extremely warm/comfortable. Pam was great and a wonderful cook! For breakfast She fixed us a strawberry and cream cheese pastry puff and then an egg capresee sandwich which was delicious. This place is a must stay if you are in... More

We just finished celebrating my nephew's graduation from VT this past weekend. The Inn was the perfect home away from home to host family and friends. The accommodations were perfect, the food was delicious and sinfully good and the fellowship was amazing!!! Thank you for making our stay feel like we were right at home. I thought about driving 3... Fabulous breakfast, wonderfully accommodating, and delightfully entertaining! Rooms in the house are stunning, rooms in the carriage house are more private if that is what you want, and all have wonderful tubs. Two pet chickens in the yard, fire pit, enormous yard, this is a heritage home, with all the pampering. Don't waste your money at a vanilla hotel, get... More

We stayed one night for my cousin's medical school interview not realizing it was a B&B. As soon as we spent just an hour there, we quickly became glad we didn't stay at a hotel. The decor and the rooms are beautiful and charming with everything you would need. The atmosphere was so comfortable and welcoming thanks to the two... More
