We booked this room at the last minute for the weekend of Virginia Tech graduation. The hotel we originally booked ended up being an hour away by car, even though it was advertised as being 23 miles (as the crow flies) from Blacksburg, so we cancelled that reservation and found a vacancy at this Budget Inn in Christiansburg. When we... More

This was the worst place I have ever stayed, never again! The first room we were given was the absolute nastiest room I had ever been in and it had a horrible smell. The ceiling looked like it was falling in and the carpet was incredibly nasty. The bathroom looked disgusting. After calling the booking company that I had made... More

I traveled to Christiansburg from Erie,Pa and was pleasantly surprised with my stay here. The photos on their website are accurate. Not fancy, but clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced. Linens and towels were clean and fresh. Parking handy and close to access room. I had a VERY COMFORTABLE stay her and when I return to Christiansbbuurg I will definitely stay here... More

The price is awesome! The rooms are clean! The staff is friendly and professional. It's not fancy but it's a nice place to lay your head! We've been staying there for years. Never had a bad stay. :-) If you are looking for luxury think about it...it's a $50 hotel you get what you pay for people.

The manager seemed friendly but then left after checking us in. The outside looked decent but was deceiving. The carpets were so dirty that we were afraid to take our shoes off. The tub had nothing to keep you from slipping. The bedding appeared clean. One of the rooms was under construction but we got conflicting stories on what happened.... More

You can't beat $50 and sometimes $40 for a room and its location is super convenient, 2 minutes walk to Burgers King, 4 minutes walk to Dollar Store. And a small microwave is really handy when you feel hungry late at night and don't want to go out. Now, trust me, I'm picky too... the window curtain appears slightly broken,... More

We asked for a non smoking and he assured us it was. The room stunk so bad! The window was busted out(probably becouse the last people couldn't stand the smell!). The ac window unit was built into the back wall and didn't have a cover. We stopped in the middle of the night and thought we had no other options.... More

Stayed at this hotel twice in a week, as it was halfway on my motorcycle trip from GA to PA, was only $48. Is it old? Yes. If you post up pictures, will someone ask you why you decided to "vacation in the 1970s"? Yes. Yes, it needs some work, and the smoking rooms smell like they've been smoked in... More
