Your typical hotel room. Maid service was excellant, she was very accommodating. Beds are rock hard. Breakfast off site. Not told that they stop serving at 9:.00 or that drinks were not included. Owner could be a little short with the guests at times. Next time will probalby stay at a place on Maddox St. If you only are looking... more

My husband and I were looking for a relatively inexpensive stay in Chincoteague that would be clean, comfortable, and close to everything. We made reservations for the king sized room at the Lighthouse Inn for three nights. The Positives -location: was in a good spot on Main Street, close to everything, short drive to the beach -cleanliness: the room, bathroom,... more

The Lighthouse Inn was a great low price place to stay on Chincoteague. You can walk to almost all the restaurants and the beach is a short drive from the motel. The room was clean and quiet and the hotel staff was very friendly. They recommended a great no frills breakfast spot called Skippers which is just a few miles... more

We stayed here for one night. Our room was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the area was very quiet. We had a small refrigerator, which was nice with kids. The hot tubs were attached to the pool and not warm at all, but the kids had fun swimming in the pool. there was... more

First thing we noticed when we walked into our room was the smell. CLEAN! My wife commented on how clean the room was. We were in room 129, top floor, and even with a youth group next door, it was quiet. Check in was easy, the owner very nice & offered a couple great ideas for eating & acitvities. Even... more

A family owned motel where the family lives on site. Owner is a very nice, pleasant person who is very kind to her guests. Chincoteague is a nice, low cost family resort town for beach lovers. There's just enough to do for maybe 4 days or so. There are two or three really nice hotels right across the street from... more

Stayed at The Lighthouse in Chincoteague, VA this weekend. It was the only place in town that accepted pets and we wanted to bring our small dog with us for the night and we appreciated their hospitality. The staff was VERY Friendly ( I believe that both people I spoke to were owners), but the accomodations were old and musty.... more
