Barbara is the ultimate caretaking hostess. And with David they make a luxurious B&B a fabulous experience. We came for an anniversary celebration. Given the beauty of Assateague, the fine food in Bill's and this B&B, and Chincateague becomes a weekend destination to remember.

This was our third stay at Channel Bass Inn and we will be back again next year! Lovely grounds, gourmet breakfasts, fabulous Tea, and such wonderful hosts. Barbara and David are like family to us and it truly feels like home each time we visit. You will not be disappointed! Janet & Kim

After seeing all the 5 star reviews on Trip Advisor, my wife and I were very excited to stay at Channel Bass. The inn and the innkeepers far exceeded expectations. Barbara and David were fantastic hosts and made us feel truly at home. Getting to know other guests at the inn was a unexpected but pleasant surprise. The breakfasts were... More

The Channel Bass Inn---we made wonderful memories and friends there. The owners/innkeepers, David and Barbara made us feel welcome right from the start, greeting us at the door with smiles and a hug. A building doesn't make a B&B---what makes a memorable B&B experience are the people, and they don't come any better than David and Barbara. Our room, the... More

This past weekend my friend and I stayed at the Channel Bass Inn B&B and had a absolutely wonderful time. The hospitality is unparalleled from any other B&B we have visited; the Innkeepers, David and Barbara, made the difference and the love they show their guests is unmatched. Barbara's Tea is so special, you will remember for a lifetime--thoroughly delicious... More

Even before we arrived, Barbara made sure we got to the Inn ok with directions & someone to greet us. The Inn was lovely & inviting, the room was so clean & comfortable. We found no TV in the room, and enjoyed that fact. The coffee was the best, and breakfast was a delicious event. We were sorry we didn't... More

For us a B&B is defined by it's owners/innkeepers and that is why we absolutely enjoyed our weekend at the Channel Bass Inn. Barbara and David go out of their way to make your trip as easygoing as possible. After showing us to the Wensleydale, a great stay on the third floor, Barbara promptly booked us a a table at... We had a wonderful time over Labor Day weekend. There is a three day stay requirement over the holiday at the B&B. Upon checking in, Barbara greeted us with a smile and hug, which was sweet and disarming and started our vacation off on the right foot. It was our first time in Chincoteague (the island that has all the... More

Thank you so much for your review. However, we would prefer future guests not to think that we serve the same eggs at each breakfast. We work hard to vary our food and to serve something different each morning ~ I don't think anyone has ever been bored with our food. We served blueberry pancakes and sausages for your first... More

We visited this lovely inn back in April for our honeymoon. First of all I have to say that the owners are wonderful. Very kind, and always helpful. We stayed in the TopCliff room, which we loved and will probably stay in again when we go back to visit. Barbara is an excellent cook! And if you will be staying... More
