Stayed at this hotel one night in Sept 09, chose it mostly on cost and the fact that it was the only thing open when I was looking for a hotel in Chincoteague. This is a typical beach hotel that looked pretty well maintained from the outside. Upon checking in, however, this proved to be the second-worst hotel I have... more

I read the reviews for this motel after I booked and was seriously upset. I emailed the staff who promptly returned my email to assure me that there was no mold and that the air conditioning did in fact work. We arrived to a sparkling clean room that was a tad musty but what could you expect for beach property... more

We stayed in Chincoteague for the first time last year over Labor Day and this place was exactly what we were looking for. No frills accomodations but clean and cozy. We stayed 4 days and were quite pleased. Their pool is one of the best in town and there are also BBQ grills in the back yard. If you're easy... more

We decided on a last minute 4th of July weekend trip to Chincoteague. All the hotels we knew were either booked up or had a room available for only 2 of the 3 days we needed. Chincoteague Inn could accomodate us, so we reserved here. It's just a basic motel, but the young office staff is very friendly and helpful,... more

The hotel is much like someone said, "No Frills!" The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. I have to say the towel swan was a nice personal touch to add to our room. It is the personal touches like this that will keep us coming back. more

This used to be a great place for the value. NOT ANYMORE!! We ended up staying all three nights but will never stay here again. Upon arrival, the room was terribly humid. We turned the a/c to a colder temerature. It didn't help. The window collected moisture as well. The carpet was extremely damp and I had allergy issues (phlegm... more

On our way back from Virginia Beach, we diecided to stop at Chincoteague Island. We tried all the hotels on Main Street but they were booked. My luck, I chose this one next. The room was terrible. Smelled so musty. Bare bones. no coffee pot, hair dryer., old 19 in t.v. The fridge plug was out and they was no... more

Definitely a no frills place. One towel per person was a bit stingy I think. The beds were hard although I slept pretty good. Location is good and it was pretty clean. A little noisy as they were just opening for the season and still working on things in some of the rooms above us. No big deal as it... more

We stayed here after we made a last minute decision to stay the night and enjoy the area. The manager was very friendly and helpful and gave us a AAA discount even though we were not members. It was very affordable and generally clean, although dated. Location was convenient and within walking distance of restaurants (we recommend Steamers--family friendly atmosphere... more

We had stayed at the Chincoteague Inn (Lodge) in 2006. It was immaculately clean inside the rooms, coffee was available at 6:30 in the morning, pool was always clean, owners were friendly. When we had checked in this year 8/07, we had found out the place had changed hands. For the value, this Inn is no longer worth it. Carpets... more
