For years, Our family has returned to Chincoteauge Island Virginia. We always seek island original motels, and avoid the big name brand, days inn ect. Upon arrival, the Motel is conveniently located on deep Hole road less than 200 ft from Maddox Boulevard, as well as very close to the Assateague Island beach entrance. The rates are very affordable, as... More

Older motel, but very clean. Staff was very kind and accommodating. Room was nice, beds were actually very comfortable. I suffer from fibromyalgia, and my hubby has had various back surgeries and we BOTH slept great. Our son enjoyed the location of the motel. Walking distance to so many things. We stayed in November due to a family death, so... More

I started calling around on Friday for a room Sat night. They were the only place on the Island for a Saturday night in July and a rocket launch on Sunday. Price was $150. On the way down, a clerk from the Inn called to say that a leak had developed from the shower in the room above us, did... More

The motel is older and could benefit from a deep cleaning and some updating, but the location is perfect, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the ground floor and had two queen beds. Everything was in good working order, but it isn't a luxury stay. No chairs in the room, floor lamp and bedside... More

The rooms smell gross. The bathroom ceiling is leaking and has many mold spots. Trapped moisture made it a perfect place for annoying flies. Every day it was a different kind of bug or insect. Woke up several times with bug bites. And for some annoying reason their fire alarms goes off randomly throughout the middle of the night. One... More

We recently stayed here over Memorial Day weekend 2014 (May 23rd, 24th and 25th 2014) We had a King room on the 2nd floor and were pleasantly surprised upon our arrival. We have stayed here a few times over the past year and have always found the rooms to be clean and a great price. We can definitely see a... More

9/6/2013: I stayed for 2 nights right after Labor Day for less than $50 a night tax included! The room had 2 double beds, a microwave and a small refrigerator. The room and bathroom were clean. The staff let me check in early. The hotel is located right in the middle of the island so you can walk to restaurants... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Chincoteague Inn. We were on the third floor which was fine. We left our room at 10:00 am in the morning to go to the beach. We put the maid service sign on our door. When we came back to our room at 3:20 we saw that no maid had been to... More

I have stayed at the Chincoteague Inn three times over seven years. Rooms are basic but clean and it is one of the cheapest properties on the island. The property is in need of TLC but still serviceable . Location is centralized and very convenient to restaurants and Main St.
