Our stay was wonderful! Great room w/ fantastic views. Owner is very nice-as are all the staff. Fresh waffles for breakfast, best enjoyed while sitting on your private deck. Pool is open until 1am! Everyone very eager to assist in any way possible. They made recommendations for dinner, gave simple directions on how to get wherever you wanted to go.... more

This is a beautiful hotel...best location in Chincoteague without doubt!!! The rooms were more than adequate, with a fridge and microwave and tea/coffee making facilities. The inn property is lovely hotel it is surrounded by rose bushes, water view, pier, outdoor heated pool, picnic tables and grills. The interior on the other hand is golden girls styled and probably last updated in the early 90's. I booked just a few days before Memorial Day weekend and wasn't expecting much more than a clean room in good repair, but the Waterside had a bit more to offer than that. Our balcony even on the first floor was perfect to sit back relax with a glass of wine watching the sunset and the ducks. Breakfast was great and the owner and staff really made you feel welcome, just like you were family having breakfast with them. Even the view from the hot tub was great more

The location is on the quiet end of Main Street, overlooking the bay. The rooms, while dated, are very clean with balconies. Make sure your room overlooks the water directly; not alll of them do, so ask. The people who run it are very helpful and friendly.
