We stayed in the Rose Room, for a one night excursion to the island (my favorite place in the world!!). We usually stay at a friend's house or a hotel, but wanted to try something new this time, and I don't regret it at all! My son and I had a warm welcome from Bob, who was outside waiting for... What a gem.....drove up to chincoteague for the day from VA Beach...decided to spend the night....the owners Bob and Carol couldn't be nicer....the house is gorgeous, they make you feel very welcome. The rooms are kept very well, very clean and spacious. The breakfast in the morning was SO VERY GOOD! We used the free bikes to explore the town.... More

Wife and I had delightful weekend at this wonderful B&B. Every room in this Victorian home filled with lovely antiques and nice touches. Spacious bedrooms with big, comfy beds. Bob was a gracious host, offering advice on everything from historic sites to restaurants. His wife, Carole, made delicious breakfasts with many homemade items. Coffee service started at 7:30am and breakfast... More

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house - so much history! And the breakfasts were wonderful. Comfortable beds. Owners very kind. My daughter got a migraine on our last day and Carol made her a care package from breakfast for when she felt better.

The place was immaculate and lots of antiques. Lovely and comfortable place to stay. The owners were very friendly, personable & helpful. Bob met us upon arrival and helped with our luggage to our room. We enjoyed our stay and had no complaints whatsoever. The Inn was immaculate at all times and our breakfasts there were very delicious, thanks to... More

We had the pleasure of staying at The Watson House one night this past week. The inn is beautiful and very well kept. Bob was waiting for us on the porch when we arrived and was extremely helpful offering to carry our things for us. They also offered complimentary beach towels, bicycles and even a pass to visit the national... More

We were greed by our host, Bob Mabin, who helped us unload and get to our room; he gave us all the information we would need to make our stay pleasant, suggested a few of his favorite places to eat and told us "You need to ride the trolley!" We found our room to be very comfortable, pleasantly appointed with... More

We stayed at Watson House through Labor Day Weekend. My wife looked on-line late and we were worried that we wouldn't find a nice place. Fortunately Watson House was available - and we were not disappointed. This is a great B&B! The experience was a quintessentially idyllic B&B experience. The House is a beautiful, charming Victorian gem from a better,... More

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend just to get away. The house is well maintained and cared for. The rooms were excellent and the host was exceptional. Every morning the biscuits and baked goods were freshly made along with nice strong coffee, just the way we like it. Bob is an excellent baker and very knowledgeable of... More
