My husband and I recently had at 3-day stay at Island Manor House and were very impressed with the overall property and service. As our first time in Chincoteague, we were pleasantly surprised. Our room (Joseph Kenny) which overlooked the courtyard on one side, was very cozy, clean, and had a tranquil energy about it, beautifully finished in lilacs and... More

Perfect long weekend trip from Philly! Rachel was an amazing hostess, answering all our questions with a smile. She even remembered our lactose intolerance at breakfast and brought out soy milk for coffee! Food was delish, and there were snacks & drinks you could help yourself to. Just what a B&B ought to be!

I came by myself for a solo getaway/retreat, and it was a wonderful place for it. I was only able to stay one night, but I wanted to stay longer! Even though it was a short trip, it was very refreshing, and I felt pampered and relaxed. The host, Rachel, was friendly and welcoming, happy to give suggestions for things... More

Built in true American Southern style, this 3 story getaway is ideal for a destination wedding, honeymoon, or even just a couples retreat. The interior is extremely elegant with beautiful hardwood flooring and fine dining china. A total of 9 suites are available, but extra cots are available upon request. The hostess Rachael was very accommodating, and I highly recommend... More

We stayed for three days and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had the royal suite - basically a completely separate suite on the other side of the courtyard from the main house. And the courtyard? Fountain in the middle, tables to sit and enjoy and two ducks sitting on their eggs in the garden. Suite had a small alcove with a... More

Just a great experience! We couldn't have felt more welcome and Rachael and Lin made our stay so comfortable. The breakfasts were out of this world, bikes for our use and just the overall setting made the Island Manor House our home while were there. Hostess Rachael ...just can't say enough about her hospitality and friendliness- made the stay perfect... More

We were at the Island Manor House for my husband's birthday in February. The weather was cold, but the B&B was warm and the staff friendly. The Chesapeake room was perfect! Although at the front of the building, it was a quiet weekend and the breakfasts were fantastic. Rachel was the perfect hostess and our room was cleaned while we... More

We spent two days in Chincoteague for a family wedding and Island Manor House was the perfect location! Lin and her staff attended to every last detail for our family and were so exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. Rachel kept everything running smoothly and was a treat to chat with. The rooms were all well appointed and the beds were some... More

We did a Valentines Weekend stay at the Island Manor House, and it was wonderful. The weather on Chincoteague Island was bitterly cold, but we still enjoyed our stay! The owners and staff were very nice and hospitable, and made sure our stay was great. They offered a Valentines Day dinner, and it was fantastic!! Our room was very nice,... More

This was our first time to Chincoteague. The Island Manor House was great and the food terrific. We couldn't have asked for nicer people. I highly recommend staying here. They truly went out of their way to make our trip to the island amazing. The proximity is close to everything on the island.
