Couldn't have been better really. Wonderful hosts, unbelievable facilit-y-so beautiful, fabulous location, incredible food, fantastic private rooms... What more could you want? It was everything we dreamed of and more. Especially the house, it couldn't have been more quaint and charming and grand all at the same time. Karen and Mark are wonderful Innkeepers and it couldn't have been a... more

Our trip to Chincoteague was quite a surprise. I've been to B&Bs before, and definitely expect them to be quaint and comfortable, but Island Manor House definitely exceeded expectations. It's so NICE inside, I felt like we should have been paying more just to spend time in there. The owners, Karen and Mark, are very personable, recommending things to do,... more

My first visit to Chincoteague Island will not be my last. The Island Manor House was beyond my expectations. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The rooms make you relax by their very design. The breakfasts served were wonderful. Mark is an excellent chef and Karen the most delightful hostess. The convenient location made this the perfect place to... more

Our stay in the Manor House B&B was wonderful. The owners were friendly and helpful. They catered to my vegan and my husband's vegetarian diet very well. The rooms were clean. Every afternoon there was lemonade and fresh baked goods on the table. The B&B is right downtown in Chincoteague (if there is a downtown) and convenient to numerous restaurants,... more

The 1848 Island Manor House is a great weekend getaway in Chincoteague, VA. The innkeepers and staff are very friendly and accomodating. They provide the most delicious breakfasts and have thought of every little need in advance. I look forward to going back and staying at this wonderful, little B&B. more

Our quaint room, The Coastal Breeze, was perfect for a weekend journey without the kids and all the noise. There is not a television to be found but Wi-Fi is slow but available if you need to check a pressing e-mail or two. Everything is in walking distance including Assateague National Seashore. I am a frequent business traveler and have... more

Stayed at the Island Manor House for the first time in May, a highly enjoyable experience in all respects. The entire B&B was attractive and inviting, our room was comfortable, and the patio behind the house with its flowers and fountain was a delightful place to have breakfast or happy hour. Breakfasts were elegant and delicious. The host was helpful... more

We stayed at Island Manor House in May and had a wonderful stay. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the hosts were welcoming and helpful (but not overbearing). We were at the House for two breakfasts and enjoyed each of them, and the complimentary desserts left out during the day (amazing fudge brownies and a carrot cake!) The place... more

My boyfriend and I just spent the weekend at Island Manor House and it was one of the best B&Bs I've visited! The house is beautiful, across the street from the water, bedrooms were lovely, and breakfast was amazing! Jerry is a true Chef, so don't miss the breakfast (sit outside too). Jerry also mentioned they just hired an in-house... more
